The staff at this hotel was an absolute joy. From being welcomed with warm towels and a rose for womans day, to the kind welcome in the room of fresh fruit and a gift for our dog, everything was thought out. We stayed here for four days and they couldn't have been any better! Our room was really nice, with a big bathroom and an amazing view over the city. Everything was perfectly clean and all the stuff was so so charming. Especially the front office manager Mr. Bendrich was helpful in any way and very friendly during the check in and check out. We also spent some time in the Spa, which is very relaxing and the atmosphere is really calming. Over all it was a perfect stay and I highly recommend spending some time in this amazing hotel!

Very confortable hotel near the centre (walking distance). Good service: helpful concierge and reception. Rooms are cosy and well furnished with bed of high quality. Nice Spa with large pool, sauna and hamam. Breakfast of quality.

We were at The Charles Hotel to celebrate our St. Valentine, just a bit earlier. When we arrived, we met Kevin at the Concierge who was amazing in his role, he introduce himself and offered us a coffee in the lobby while we were waiting to have our room ready. When the room became available He showed us the Sophia restaurant, the Sophia Bar, the spa and the pool, and our room. I believe we were upgraded to one of the junior suites, overlooking the botanic garden and upon arrival to the room we found beautiful amenities with a welcome letter from GM Florian Steinmaier. We love that Thank you so much. During the whole stay, we had dinner and lunch at the Sophia restaurant where we met Nando, Terea, Charlotte, Giulia, and Silvia. All teams mentioned were amazing, and all of them are an asset to the company delivering the Rocco Forte Standards at their 100%. As we are from Agrigento near the Verdura Resort, we found that it was a Sicilian pop-up, which was an amazing surprise and a great opportunity to show the guest how amazing the food in Sicily is. I have to say that we tasted all dishes and the food was like staying in Sicily, AMAZING. We tried also the spa, where we met Lidya, The Greek lady ( I believe her name is Sunday ), and Carlos and his assistant who did our massage in the couple's treatment room. During our stay, we met also Etienne, who I believe is the Duty Manager, the Night Manager Sabrina, and Isabella on the Concierge team. I have to congratulate all of them as they truly delivered the best customer service we ever Had. Last but not least I have to say thank you so much to IRD and the Housekeeping team to clean our room every day and IRD for delivering our breakfast request in a fast and efficient service. All team members are such incredible people and happy to work with the Rocco Forte Family which shows that RF Family knows how to find the right people. We loved The Charles! We had a very nice room with a view of the City Center - amazing sunrises every morning. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was awesome every day. Spa & pool area was beautiful and very relaxing - don't skip it! Sauna had naked people of both genders together - a bit unusual for non-Europeans. Service was top notch all throughout.

I've been a travel agent for over 30 years, and this was by far the most perfect experience I've had staying in a hotel. The location is wonderful, The staff are amazing! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Munich. The rooms are beautiful and very clean with very comfortable beds and lovely amenities. Also, the service is exceptional thanks to the amazing staff. Every single staff member is incredible helpful, very accommodating and always available!

Where do I start. One of the simplest and fastest check-ins ever. Goes a long way after a long journey. Great huge rooms. Excellent room service. The restaurant is also great with their breakfast spreads and equally so with their ala carte menu for dinner. Lovely huge (European Standard) rooms.

We stayed in the hotel with 2 rooms as a family. I run hotels myself, but I was surprised by the excellent service and standards. Food and Beverage was superb. Will go back as soon as I can. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who would like to stay in Munich. Easy to access by car - valet parking - close to the city center. A GREAT HOTEL with GREAT STAFF.

Check in was friendly and welcoming. It did however lack any orientation on the hotel facilities. I was left to make my own way to the room, which these days is unusual for a premium hotel. Kindly upgraded to a Park View Suite, it was spacious and had a great layout - with seating area, bedroom in a partial rotunda shaped room, and large bathroom. There was also a separate guest washroom. If you’re looking for a bit more space, I’d highly recommend this layout. Food and beverage service could be improved. Breakfast consisted of a buffet, with a few items cooked fresh to order. Staff were pleasant but attention to detail was lacking (incorrect hot drink delivered), no offer to refill juice glasses, etc. Bar service in the evening was very slow - even when ordering a simple gin & tonic. Disappointingly for a premium hotel, concierge did not commence until 10am. As we were keen to get out and explore, one of the reception staff did an amicable job in providing some assistance in lieu of the concierge.…
