I just stayed for 2 days at your hostile for two days and I got bitten over 18 times by bed bugs. I literally have bites all over my face and body. I ripped my bed apart and found them everywhere. I went to the front desk and the desk worker told me he would just give me a different...

We arrived to a warm welcome by the staff in reception. We checked in and received a key card each by leaving ID at reception. Your key automatically gives you access to a locker in your room, however as we was a group that knew each other we did not test these, as we checked in we are given linen...

I have to say I was very impressed with this hostel. Really nice room with a reasonable bed and an en suite. The bar is on point and a great place to start boozing for the long weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the bar staff didn't seem that happy, but the rest were good fun. Clean, comfortable...

This hostel stands out for the following reasons: 1. Outstanding cleanliness. 2. Super close to Munich Hbf (Central Munich station) 3. The rooms and the dorms are arranged beautifully. 4. Good wifi and internet. 5. The common area has a lovely 'hang out' vibe to it and you can make friends with fellow travellers here! 6. Charging point next to...

I stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm. The room was spacious and had a table in the middle where you can eat your food/talk to your roommates. Beds are squeaking - you move a bit and the entire bed creaks. Shower is clean and decent. Breakfast is awesome - I love their pumpkin seed bread! They have a decently-priced bar...

I chose Wombats because it was close to the train station and pretty cheap. The area around the hostel is a little seedy, but nobody bothered me. The security once inside is pretty good. I shared a room with 5 other girls. The beds were ok, but it is noisy at night. I didn't get much sleep while there. The...

The tours leaving from the lobby are amazing. The walking tour (nominally free but budget for a small tip) is a great introduction to the city and a great way to meet people if you're travelling solo. The Dachau concentration camp tour is given by a very personable Irishman and makes for a confronting experience. Prices aren't necessarily the best...

Small and quirky, this hostel is located a short walk away from the Hauptbahnhof subway (under 1 km). We got a six bunk room with a private bath. The rooms and bath are spacious and tidy and the linen is clean. The wifi has excellent connectivity, breakfast (4 euro per person) is wholesome with fruits, yoghurt, museli, eggs, cold cults...

Stayed for 4 nights! Super clean, great breakfast, awesome wifi, staff was super friendly, common room is really nice and the pub was really convenient too! Very much enjoyed this hostel! Only thing they don't have is a kitchen for guest use.

Excellent location, even if it took a while to get my bearings of the city. Room's are nice enough, but nothing worth raving about. Good wifi, and the bar downstairs was definitely worth a visit. Would have preferred a shared bathroom, as it was hard to sleep with my room mates using the ensuite.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Of all the hostel-hotels popping up in Munich this pert little number does the best job in combining style with location. Past the glassed-in courtyard you'll find a friendly expat staff, pleasant if modular furnishings and private showers and toilets in every room.' (Lonely Planet)Welcome to our comfortable baby in Munich! We're just a stone's throw from the main train station which also serves as the major public transportation hub. It’s not much further to the old town (5 minute stroll or 2 stone throws) and we're within easy walking distance of the Oktoberfest grounds (if you still CAN walk…better don’t throw stones). We have amply dimensioned dormitories and most doubles come with their own terrace. We're especially proud of our air-conditioned, glass-roofed courtyard with real trees, real hammocks, semi-real (Beware of the wormholes!) beach chairs and beanbags. If you travel by car, you can park it in our basement. ... more   less
