I traveled with a group of students to Munich and stayed at the Meininger. The hotel is well located within easy access of the trams, the train station and the subway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We reserved a room for 12 people...More
Our experience in Meininger Munich was short but sweet. Although it wasn’t particularly near the train station, it wasn’t far either
This made traveling around the city rather easy and convenient as the main train station had connections everywhere.
The rooms were efficient and clean,...More
I have to admit i was a bit surprised when I arrived at the hotel. I expected it to be shabby and a bit rough around the edges as we only paid 80 Euros for three nights !!! The room was spotless and very clean....More
I just stayed 2 nights and i quite liked it. Beds were confortable, staff really kind to us and the rooftop spot is so chill.
Also a nice kitchen and well located hostel, if i come back, i'll definetly choose these one again!

Hi there - access is easy into Marienplatz vis S Bahn and you can get cheap tickets in the Hotel( thereafter on foot to Hofbrauhaus ) but would also agree with Beatriz's comment here that the Augustiner Brauhaus is directly across the road rom the Meininger and is the last fully German owned brewery in the area - it goes on all night long and is well worth the visit. The beer is also on sale in the hotel amd the Steins are cheaper to buy in the hotel than elsewhere! Enjoy 🍻
