We stayed here as a family of four plus grandma (5). They offered a great room on the fourth floor which consisted of two rooms with two king beds and a couch/futon for a 5th person. We had young children with is so this was a perfect option and one of very few options for 5 so close to the...

This hotel is in a fabulous location right in the heart of Munich! We were able to take the MNV Train from the airport to downtown Munich and then walk 7 minutes to our hotel. The hotel was fun and unique. We were allowed to look at 3 different rooms and select which one worked for us. The elevator is...

This is a great little hotel in a prime location -- just steps from the Viktualienmarkt and Marienplatz. Our room was cozy and met our needs just fine. For all the Americans freaking out about small rooms, get over it -- if you want to stay at a Hilton in Texas, stay at a Hilton in Texas and don't come...

The pros - the hotel is right off the Viktualienmarkt and Marienplatz, and not overly expensive. The cons - There is no soundproofing between the room and narrow, utilitarian hallway - almost as if the maid service and other guests are in your room with you. The reception area smelled like cigarettes. The breakfast was tired. The front door was...

I stayed in this hotel a couple of months ago and thought it was ok but nothing special. the lift was tiny to get up to your room so if you dont like small spaces then take the stairs. The breakfast area was also just OK. Nothing special. The location is very good though. Right in the middle of the...

Fantastic place to stay - we walked here from the train station and through the market and bam! - you're there. Wonderful breakfasts and coffee before exploring the markets and general nearby area, highly recommended, would stay again.

Location is fantastic....right at the front off the Viktualenmarkt and near to Marienplatz. Price during Oktoberfest very reasonable. Variable room quality....i was sharing with a friend and our room for a twin was extremely small whereas some of...

We stayed in Hotel am Viktualienmarkt before and during a tour that started in Munich and found it to be an excellent hotel with an excellent and helpful staff. Their breakfast was very good and started your day off with the right tone. The rooms were clean and surprisingly big by European standard. The hotel is located just down the...

Spent a lovely 4 nights here with my parents, uncle and partner. A double and a triple room for 5 of us was great. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was lovely with plenty of choice - juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Fresh rolls, meats, cheese, eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. Short stroll away from...

We stayed here for a few days before and during our Rick Steves tour. The breakfast was always very good with a large variety of fruit, cereals, granola, meats, cheese and tomatoes. There was also coffee, juice and water available. The front desk staff was exceptional. The rooms are basic but comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.
