We stayed at Hotel Blauer Bock while visiting Munich Christmas Market (my second stay). The location is excellent and rates reasonable. Viktualienmarkt is only a few steps away as is Marienplatz (and the S and U Bahn). The hotel offers a generous breakfast buffet and made to order eggs if the buffet isn't enough. Each staff member was friendly and...

Stayed here while visiting the Christmas Markets! Perfect location! They offer single room at a very reasonable rate! Breakfast was included and was nice as well! Staff was very friendly. I couldn't have been happier with the experience! Book here! You will love it!

I stayed here for two nights in a "superior single." The room was tiny, but the bed was firm and comfortable. Shower worked well, plenty of water, but the smallest shower stall I've ever used. Not uncommon in Germany, I understand. The breakfast was a standout, as others have mentioned. Excellent made to order omelette or other style eggs and...

It is located in downtown of Munich walking distance to famous square as well as shopping center. The breakfast was good . One of the staff ( Heyga) was very helpful. However I am talking about 3 star hotel but it was one of the best 3 star hotels.

As a regular visitor to this beautiful city with a wealth of history, it is a pleasure to stay in a hotel which is located in the heart of the old town of Munich, a stones throw away from the Viktualienmarkt. A pleasant walk through the old town in all directions brings you to one historic landmark after the next....

This is a great hotel, centrally located in the old town, steps from all the shopping, restaurants and market. The hotel is super clean, quiet, and the service was outstanding even though they were very busy during Octoberfest! We couldn't have been more satisfied. The breakfast was also great the next day. I would return.

Wife and I stayed two nights in November, 2016. We paid for a "premium double room"--not cheap at about $200 per night. However, this included a very nice breakfast and the location was unbeatable--just off the Marienplatz, basically across the street from the Viktualienmarkt. (On the morning we departed, we left the hotel at 0630 and were able to catch...

I really like this hotel. It is very comfortable and in the middle of the city. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, although I miss the Birchermuesli. The hotel has also a very good restaurant. Clearly recommended.

An old building but very well maintain. It is located in downtown of Munich walking distance to famous square as well as shopping center. Easily access to Hotel parking but costly 22 Euro per day. Breakfast are well acceptable. Some complaint related to staff. They should have more trained to be customer centric and learn more how to fulfill customer...
