My daughter and I stayed here for four wonderful days in Munich. Sebastian and his crew welcomed us, helped us make our way around, provided us with just the right beverages and breakfast when needed, and a comfortable clean place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet but

My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Laimer Hof for 2 nights as the end of our stay in Munich as it appeared that it was close to Nymphenburg Palace and easy access for Dachau and the airport on the last day. Well google maps was right. The palace is a 5 minute walk away, the

Even after inadvertently cutting him off in traffic on driving approach (oops!), the owner gave us the warmest of welcomes for our overnight stay and made us feel immediately like family at home. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed, the free beer on arrival was a

Arrived there only for 2 nights, although it's somewhat distant from the center of Munich, it offers its own set of attractions. Located in a unique neighborhood full of unique restaurants and an amazing park within few minutes walk. Above all, is the friendly staff that made

Dear Daniel, thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear that you liked our small and authentic Bavarian hotel as well as our good service and friendly staff. We are happy we made your stay nice and convenient. We will make sure to manage this unique family-run hotel with genuine hospitality and service (just with love and passion, this is the secret!) for many more years. Our team share the same thoughts and every day is like being with family and friends, it is more pleasure than work. Our hotel is indeed supposed to be a home away from home for our many travellers from all over the world like you and you do confirm this, thank you therefore. The Munich public transportation system is very efficient (bus, tram and fast train next to the hotel!) and we do sell the tickets therefore at the reception. Munich is a great city to be explored by bike and our complimentary bicycles are certainly ideal for this purpose. We are looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming you again soon and to provide you with another memorable stay. You will always find the best available rates on our hotel-own homepage and you will also get a free drink at our bar. We thank you for your recommendation and hope that we may welcome you again when you travel to Munich next time. Best regards from sunny Munich and Nymphenburg Palace, Alexandra and Sebastian with the Laimer Hof team.

I don't usually write reviews as I have stayed in many hotels on my travels but decided to comment on the Hotel Laimer Hof as the standard was very high and offers exceptional value for money. We stayed for 1 night on 09th Feb 2019. This is an excellent 3 star hotel in a quiet

Dear client, many thanks for your incredible review and feedback and for supporting little family-run hotels. What should I say? Wow! You just described us and the hotel as the reality is, 1000 thanks therefore. Yes, our life is certainly not easy and raising a family at the same time is sometimes a challenge. We work 7 days a week except holidays but we just LOVE it. And if you love what you do you just do not look at the time and the hours you do work. Hard to explain but we are extremely happy here. The Laimer Hof is a unique hotel in a unique location BUT we also have unique and wonderful clients from all over the world like you and your lovely wife every single day. So thank you again and also thanks to all the other clients writting those wonderful reviews since many years, it gives us energy to continue our happy daily life with you and our team which do support us since 16 years. DANKE SCHÖN! It was our great pleasure to have you staying with us and we hope to welcome you back soon. Best regards from sunny Munich and Nymphenburg Palace, Alexandra and Sebastian with the entire Laimer Hof team.

It is 8km so not walking distance but only 10mins by tram which goes very regularly. I really liked the quiet location and great service at this hotel.

There is a very good tram system and a stop not far from the hotel. Get the pass that covers up to five people as it’s cheaper even if there are only two of you. The hotel staff is very helpful making sure you can get around Munich with no problem. We were given a map, tram numbers, and a business card in case we needed to get in touch. Enjoy your stay!

March weather can be cool and we, around mid fifties (Fahrenheit). Most of the nearby attractions are open year round so that is not a problem.

It is very easy, and inexpensive to travel to the town center from the hotel. You pick up the tram about a block away from the hotel. I can't remember how late at night the tram runs although if it does stop early the buses run. The Laim subway station is also just a few minutes’ walk away: From here you can take the MVV subway to Munich’s city center or to the nearer towns around Munich.
