Room 57, quiet and on floor 5 served by the lift, is quite narrow, say about 8-9 feet wide. It has two single beds, it's own shower and lavatory etc. The room overlooks the quiet back. The view here will not send you into a rapturous swoon, but it is open, spacious enough and light. I suspect the front picks... More

Pros: - Our room was small, clean and functional. - Rooms available with ensuite bathrooms as well as shared bathrooms. - The bedding is firm, but very comfortable. - There is plenty of closet space. - The public areas of the hotel are warm, welcoming and homey. - The hotel is located on several floors of a classic old building... Simple and comfortable room in an interesting old house. The hotel is in a quiet part of Munich next to the University and within easy walking distance to many sites, or there is a U-Bahn station right around the corner if you need the metro. The breakfast room is cheerful and breakfast is excellent. I can't say enough about how... More

This was my first time in Germany and stayed at the Hotel Pension. The rooms were very simple & comfortable. The hotel owner, Monica, was so sweet and very accommodating. Breakfast was served everyday and really enjoyed the breads with the meats & cheeses. The hotel was within walking distance from the subway system so made it easy to get... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is run by a family in an old house in the city center of Munich. Although toilets and showers are outside the room it is very agreable to stay there. Breakfast was perfect, the owner's communication was very fast and very friendly - so I surely recommand staying there. Last note: the price... More

Frau Clauhs made this such a nice stay. We were here for 3 nights and loved it. As everyone has mentioned, you enter the building, then you can either take the neat, creaky wooden stairs or the really cool tiny elevator, up to the 3rd floor. We rang the doorbell and Frau Clauhs welcomed us. She was so friendly and... More

THis personal pension was recommended to us by our friends, who often stay in the city. The pension is located in center with good connections to other places in Münich. Breakfast was good and large. The hostess was very helpful and flexible with all arangements. If we go back to the city, this will surely be the place to stay.

I first discovered this place when I lived in Munich and wanted somewhere quiet and central but not too expensive for visitors to stay. I have come back and been recommending it ever since. The pension is spread across the 3rd, 4th and fifth floors of a large town house overlooking the beautiful akademie der kuenste. It's a short (10... More

On several floors of a 19th century building, with lift, this colourful and welcoming, cash-only pension provides attractive rooms with bathroom and good breakfast. It is in the university district, near interesting cafes and the English Garden with its greenery and famous beer garden. A U-bahn station is just around the corner.

Very good value and super B&B (hotel/pension) in an lovely old building and attractive and quiet location next to Universitat U3/U6 underground stop. Great for connections to the city centre and airport. Located in the heart of Schwarbing; the best area in the best city in Germany with lots of independent and stylish shops, cafés, bars and restaurants and many... More
