This hotel is very clean and has good amenities. The staff are very friendly and will help with whatever you need. The restaurant has a good variety of tasty foods to fit all needs, including three vegetarian choices. The only thing I would change is to have better mattresses and pillows which are not completely flat. I know this was...

We stayed as a family for 4 nights. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated in a Bavarian style. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with delicious local dishes (venison etc). It is a little out of the way but the S-Bahn is only 5 mins walk and 20 mins...

It can be tough sometimes to get a good hotel at a reasonable price in Munich. We decided to select the Prinzregent even though it was outside of town. The hotel is excellent, but the location must be taken into account. If you are spending time at the Messe (Convention Center) or are doing some side trips from Munich the...

Dear DonR_09, Thank you for the detailed words and your time that these words have taken. We really appreciate it. Yes, you are right - we are not exactly in the heart of the City. But you say it yourself: we are so well connected that you can enjoy the city, but do not have to live in the middle...

For some travelers the location can be a problem, but in a city having such a great public transportation system, it really shouldn't be. It will take you 15 minutes by train to Marienplatz and the trip to the airport is also not very complicated either - just one change needed. If you travel in a group, buy a day...

We appreciate this very much and we are so happy about this. We have succeeded in inspiring you. What more could we wish for? Nothing! Elisabeth Petermaier, manager

I was here for a two-day business meeting. The staff was accommodating the entire time. The food and service were excellent. The location isn't far from most Munich attractions which made it easy to get to and from our entertainment. I would stay here on non-business trips.

Dear ,west_meets_east_2004, Getting such a great praise - this is our declared goal. You took so much time for us. From a very helpful staff to quiet rooms and great food, we totally enjoyed our stay at the Prinzregent. We were vacationing, but noted many business people chose this hotel as well. Up front you must understand you are not in the heart of Munich but an easy 15 minute or so S2-to Riem local train from the main station....

Arrived late at night. Hard to tell where the entrance is from the street. Very quiet. Quite a long ways out of central Munich. Recommended to us as a starting point for the driving tour we were on. Room is small, prices higher than normal for this room. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory but not special.
