It's great place to stay, clean, comfortable, personable. As others mention, it's a multi-use building, and run very personally. I could (and did) work in the room, but it's a better place to set up your doing something else--since the hotel is next door to the English Garden, near the underground etc. I'd go back.

Really convenient location, right next to the beautiful English Garden and a great stay in a beautiful room! We even got a free upgrade, which was very much appreciated! Good place to stay during Oktoberfest as it is far away enough from the crowds to be quiet but close enough to the action! Breakfast was plentiful and generous and Regina...

Pros: Clean, quiet, nicely decorated and maintained B&B, great location, safe neighborhood, walking distance to the Underground & Subway which provides quick & easy acces to Oktoberfest, downtown, shopping, etc. Cons: The first day we arrived for a 6 day stay we were placed in a room with a shared bath even tho we specifically reserved an ensuite bathroom. The...

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Pension Carolin. The room and bath were clean and the building secure. This is a multi-use building, with some apartments and a dental office. Upon arrival, we found a note on the door directing us to call the manager, who had hidden the key for us, and we found it without issue...

Yes, the location is not to be beat, right next to the English Garden and easily walkable to city center. But that's just the start. It's located on an extremely quiet street, it has excellent beds, there's a wonderful breakfast buffet, and the prices are very reasonable. And the owner is extraordinarily welcoming and kind. My wife and I stayed...

I really like this little place: great location with super connection to the public transportation system (MVV), very comfortable beds, super friendly host / owner who personally looks after the well being of her guests ! And the breakfast she serves is super good, a good traditional German breakfast with bread rolls, cheeses, various jams etc !! It's a cute...

We had a nice spacious room. The Owner of the pension welcomed us at arrival and friendly explained what we needed to know. The location is very nice and for us, visitors to a congress in the university, very convenient. During the night the house is quiet and we slept very well. Breakfast is well taken care of with a...

“Ask for en-suite bathroom”

“Rooms facing the side or back are much quieter than the one facing the street. Our full bathroom was very spacious and modern. In the room on the side that has a shower and sink (no toilet) has an odd entry for the shower. You have to step up about 10" - 12" to enter the shower.”
