This is the second time I have stayed here. First time was solo but I liked it so well I brought my family and my daughter's friend this year. Peter and his staff are very helpful and the included breakfast is filling. Coffee was great and the dining room was small enough to be comfy yet large enough for privacy.... More

A very good cheap room by Munich standards. The Pension occupies the top floor (3rd for British, 4th for Americans) of an old apartment building right on the edge of the Theresienwiese. There is a small lift and the stairs are not steep, winding or narrow. The area is quiet and comfortable (unless Oktoberfest or Fruehlingsfest is on). The rooms... More

We stayed here during our recent trip to Munich and we are glad we did. We liked this place. The owner, Peter, is very friendly and helpful. Because our night train from Venice arrived in Munich early in the morning, Peter changed our room so we could check in at 7:30 AM and even have breakfast. The rooms here are... More

I went to Berlin and wanted to visit another city in Germany. I decided to go to Munich because of the positive reviews from this pension and couldn't be more than happy! Peter and Beata were very friendly and welcoming, who patiently answered my questions about touristic options and transportation. The breakfast was satisfying and my bedroom was comfortable. Everything... More

This quiet, charming bed and breakfast is my favorite place to stay while in Munich. Peter is a wonderful host and provides a lovely breakfast to start your day. He is always available to help and answer questions. Our triple room was clean and simple and even had split bathrooms with a water closet and sink in one room and... More

Clean basic bed and breakfast with a great location right on the grounds were all the tents and events happen for Octoberfest.Eazy walk to the metro and safe area.I would recommend you make your reservation as soon as possible if you're considering going to Oktoberfest as they fill up also the rates are also higher than the norm

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Oktoberfest and would say it has to be the most conveniently located hotel in all of Munich. The owner/manager Peter was absolutely delightful and couldn't do enough to help us. It is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, but did just the trick when we stumbled back from the Lowenbrau tent after... More

This location is directly across the street form Oktoberfest. Also, the area behind Pension Westfalia has plenty of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, post office and currency exchange. The pension is clean and the staff are simply wonderful. Peter is helpful and always in a cheery mood. Breakfast is such a treat to have it right in the pension. We met... More

The hotel is located in the heart of Munich, right next to the Octoberfest beer tents. It's cheap, which is what I was looking for. Bathroom is down the hall and shared with other guests, which for some people will probably be a problem. Room was clean. Staff was kind and helpful. No complaints.

I booked Pension Westfalia for the price and its location next to the underground metro line. Location: Right next to the Oktoberfest grounds, so if you're here during that time, you're in the "it" location." The hotel is located on a quiet street and less than 10 min. walk to the Goetheplatz station (which is two stops from Marienplatz). There... More
