The room is ok, but not totally clean. There are some hairs on the floor and dust. But the breakfast is ok and staff friendly. So in general this was more than adequate, all I needed was somewhere to sleep and food first thing. My business paid... maybe if I paid I'd expect more! But for the price it was...

This hotel/hostel is in an Apartment Building....don't be nervous. Phenomenal location - one block away from the Viktualienmarkt and close to the Isartor Gate of the Marienplatz as well as the Isartor train stop. We arrived early and they held our bags. Not hard to spend an hour in the Viktualienmark...which is really only one block away. Friendly staff. Basic...

Converted apartment-building. The rooms used to be flats or apartments. Now split up into smaller units. Large rooms in our flat Slept well in the bed Quiet neighbourhood considering the central location Breakfast surprisingly good No elevator so don´t bring heavy bags or luggage or stroller

Good things: Great location for Munich, friendly staff, clean and basic facilities, good shower. Not great: Wifi costs extra and login is difficult to navigate, Housekeeping starts around 8am and is inexplicably noisy for a good few hours so if you enjoy sleeping and relaxing in your room, this place is not for you. This was every morning for my...

I spent one night in Munich and was referred to Pension Seibel by a friend who stayed there. Check in was easy. They held my bags for me until the 1 o'clock check in time for no fee. I was traveling alone and never felt unsafe. The building itself was older and not modern. You must go up 2 flights...

Booked here on an old Rick Steve's recommendation. Great location with the Viktualienmarkt just down the street. For 4 adults we had an apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and private bath. There is no elevator so plan luggage accordingly! Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was excellent but is served in a small room so plan...

This place maybe does need a little face lift but great location great breakfast and our room was fine with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. We found all the staff friendly and helpful . After reading the reviews I was very pleasantly surprised . Would definitely stay here again - loved it .

I booked this hotel because it was the only hotel near Marienplatz that was under $400 at the time. We arrived later in the day and we were stuck with a 5 th floor room, no elevator and no one to help carry our luggage up the five flights. The hotel is really showing it age. There was no air...

I liked a location of the place - it was literally 5 min. walk form Marienplatz . And it wasn't so hard to find. Also the staff was quite smiley, friendly and responsive to my requests. Breakfast was delicious! Below I tried to list things I hadn't liked: - No elevator (it's understandable though, because the building is quite old)...

Ideally located - five minutes' walk from Viktualienmarkt & Marienplatz, but busy area - and noisy. Dining room far too small for the size of the pension, but breakfast bar well and generously stocked. Some rooms generous-sized, some rooms poky. No lift - but plent of stairs!
