Its such a great hotel with nice rooms, very good service and amazing breakfast options. Being a Vegetarian, I was amazed at the options and spread they had for breakfast but I feel its very badly situated. It feels like a very downtrodden lane, close to train station but the crowd outside the hotel feels shady. Didnt feel safe returning back late in the night, even the hotels lock the door and entry is only with key card. I just hope it was nicely situated.
Perfect for our family of four. The breakfast was awesome. The room was clean rooms and had enough room for our family. The staff was really nice staff and helpful. And it is close to all transportation, restaurants and stores.
I stayed just one night with my wife and my son. We enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and very quite, we appreciated the very comfortable beds. The location is very conveniente to visit the Munich city center, just 5 minutes away. Parking is available in a nearby public park garage (16 Euro/day). Breakfast was good - we will definitely come back the next time we will visit Munich!
We made an online reservation for this establishment in February for a late March visit. With this unforeseen Covid 19 pandemic, like a lot of people, we were forced to cancel. Upon approaching AWA, we were given 2 different 'refund policies'. The 1st representative said "yeah sure - we can give you a refund, but it will be a 100% handling fee on the fee paid". You honestly couldn't write this! A few days later, upon another approach, a 2nd AWA representative claimed that they have a "non-refundable policy". So, not only is their stance non-customer friendly, there is also a lack of communication amongst their staff members in reference their refund policy. In these unprecedented and difficult times, we all need to work and cooperate together.
Because of Corona Virus outbreak, I was trying to negotiate with the hotel to get some refunds. Instead of helping me out, the hotel immediately took my money 100% away. So I am not sure how hotel is like, but what I am for sure is the costumer service is definitely business oriented, and don't even care about the customers. So think twice before you book it.
Nice room, as per pictures, but even though the area is central, it's not a nice one. Walking distance from city centre and included breakfast is ok too but, being vegan, I'd have liked more veg staff :)
Be aware the hotel will be happy to welcome you to a building site without warning. Vorkasse, ohne Frage. Bar ist im benachbarten *Drei Löwen* , Angestellte sind von legerer Natur und Erscheinung. Im Detail fehlt es überall. The rooms are small yet clean. Dont waist your money. Premier in is of equal standard.
We needed a hotel for one night and it needed to be by the train station and walking distance to city center. This fit the bill perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the room was more spacious than some we've stayed in. The bathroom was very clean.
Pros: - Central location, everywhere within walking distance - very comfortable mattress and well equipped modern bathroom and bedroom including fridge. Powerful shower - located on a very busy street but rooms blocked out noise well slept well on all 3 nights - breakfast options ok plenty of fruit - staff polite enough and spoke good English Cons: - the breakfast set up was a little unorganised, we didn’t know you could have cooked eggs until we noticed it at the next table - coffee machine slow and often broke - no ketchup available with breakfast - no toaster for bread - air con was noisy Overall not a bad hotel at all and were satisfied. The local area is fine despite other petty reviews. The breakfast could be improved but not a big negative. Would return.
Nothing to say of extremely good or extremely bad about this hotel. I was looking for hotels close to main train station, with a budget of max 120 euros/night, and this is what I got. It is indeed 5 min to Hbf, but the area is what it is: dirty, ugly, noisy, and, as the germans like to say, "multi-culti". Room was OKish size, it could be cleaner, bathroom could be newer. No tea/coffee amenities. Breakfast very good, with a funny and surprising choice of food. Munich is expensive, and we got what we paid for: an average hotel. Keep expectations low, and your stay will be OK.
