This is an unusual hotel in as much as only breakfast is provided and the hotel is unmanned during the afternoon and evening (though there was someone waiting to welcome us when we arrived late afternoon). You are provided with a key to the side door and you are free to come and go at any time. The hotel is... More

+ 10 mins drive to the city center, free parking, clean facility, helpful & cheerful lady who owns the property & also runs it well - Was a hot day and w/o a fan it was very difficult to sleep in the room during the night. At least a table or pedestal fan would be of great help!!

My wife and I plus two friends stayed at Hotel am Fasangarten to explore Oktoberfest. What a GREAT hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was superb, nice clean room and great access to downtown via the bus. The hotel even sold full day bus passes with detailed instructions on how to get to the fest area. If that wasn't... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel in December 2014 and loved it! It's located on a quiet street and about a 15 minute easy walk to the S-Bahn which will take you directly into downtown Munich in 15 minutes. There's also a grocery store located near the S-Bahn platform. Underground parking is available for a few euros. This hotel... More

We stayed repeatedly at this small but fine family run hotel and last on 25 and 26 August 2014. It is close to a bus stop for downtown Munich, within short walking distance of two restaurants, and very quiet because all windows are totally soundproof. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. A small underground garage provides covered parking. Breakfast is... More

We stayed here for the weekend for Braukunst Live, since the hotel was right around the corner from the MVG Museum. The hotel price is high in Munich, so one needs to look more at value for money rather than just price. This place provided very clean, large rooms, a decent breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff for a decent price... More
