Munchen Palace is a hotel in Munich's Bogenhausen quarter. Located on the banks of the Isar River, not far from the beautiful Englischer Garten, the hotel stands between the Friedensengel Monument and the Prinzregententheater. The city centre's shops and sights are just a 15-minute walk away. There are underground and bus stops nearby and the hotel has a private garage. The hotel roof terrace and garden are city-central spots of seclusion. Guests can soak up the sun whilst enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner in the garden.

We traveled to München for several short trips between July and October. The first time we stayed at the Bayerischer Hof and had a very disappointing experience (massives disorganisation, poor quality, impersonal, dated, etc.). We then decided to try the München Palace - what a difference! This is a well maintained, well managed boutique hotel in a wonderful area of of Munich that has found a way to offer its clients a personal and warm service even during the Covid pandemic. We felt cared for and safe at the same time. Rooms are classy and quiet, the restaurant serves good food and open up to a charming courtyard whenever weather allows. We appreciated the surrounding neighbourhood as well; there are many restaurants, shops, and a park; the city center is within walking distance as well.

Hotel's Favorite
stayed 3 nights in deluxe garden room. The room was just perfect and matched all my needs. And so quiet at night , had an excellent sleep all nights. The concierge was always ready to take over the car to park. Very friendly staff. And in addition an absolutely amazing breakfast buffet (and special items to order) , never seen such a high-quality choice in a hotel in Europe, very intimate with just 4-6 other guests to share every morning, 4 blends of fresh juice generously presented and exotic fruits from dragon fruits, papaya, mango, pineapple and all perfectly ripe. Congrats to the FB-Manager and kitchen staff. Will be back here for sure.

I recently stayed at the Muenchen Palace whilst on holiday in Munich. The hotel is a cosy oasis in a quiet part of the city (the Bogenhausen Theatre district), although the central hub of the city is easily accessible. I found every member of the hotel staff I encountered to be friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast service is a sumptuous variety of German cuisine - it will certainly set you up for the day! I was also able to enjoy a few dinners in the hotel's garden restaurant - again the service was first class and I particularly enjoyed the Johannisburger schnitzel served with tagliatelle. My room overlooked the courtyard which meant no noisy disturbances whilst sleeping. The room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also beautifully presented, complete with Molton Brown shampoo etc. Munich is one of my favourite cities in the world so I'll certainly be back on the other side of Covid 19. When that happens, I very much hope I get the chance to return to the Hotel Muenchen Palace. I'd like to congratulate the General Manager and his team for the superb way in which they run a first rate property. Thank you for looking after me!

We traveled to Germany in mid-June. It was not a "vacation" in that my husband sought medical treatment at the nearby hospital. Despite this, Hotel Muenchen Palace became our refuge. The staff were uniformly courteous, friendly, warm, responsive and gracious. The hotel is lovely and very clean. We were keenly aware of the added precautions that were taken because of the coronavirus and we felt safe in these surroundings. The food in the restaurant was delicious and our room was lovely. The hotel is situated in a beautiful section of Munich and while we didn't do any sight-seeing, we know it was convenient to transportation. We have traveled the world and consider ourselves to be picky travelers. We could not have been more satisfied with this hotel and its staff and have already booked our follow up stay. We thank them for making a very difficult time so much easier to deal with!

We stayed here in June 2019 and what a great hotel this is. Located near to bus routes and train routes and only a 10 minute journey to the town centre. Breakfast was of great quality and the rooms were very good, well stocked mini bar, complimentary fruit and drink delivered to our room. The staff were very polite and helpful, especially the concierge service. I look forward to returning some day.
