Budget priced hotel, recently renovated with an unconventional but slick room layout which makes the most of a tight space. Good quality bed linen, clean & well serviced. Friendly staff, generous 12 pm checkout & a good Italian restaurant onsite. Central location near public transport options but an easy walk to most central sights. I could have lived without the... Stayed here during Octoberfest. Rooms and hotel looked modern on website, however they were dirty and little attention to detail was paid to the rooms and presentation. Unpleasant hotel. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were there during their busiest time. We understand busy season but we also are paying 4 times the price.. There should be some consideration for... More

OKTOBERFEST! "Last night, a couple drunk men couldn't figure out the key card, so they just slept in the hallway..." - Front desk girl. Hahahaha! Hotels in Munich are freakishly expensive during Oktoberfest...we spent 3 nights here for about €250/night...this place normally costs €70-90/night! Regardless, Hotel Herzog was a bit cheaper than other hotels. Rooms are typical European sized, smaller... More

Stayed here with 5 other guys (we had 2 3-bed rooms) it is basically all you need for the Oktoberfest.(also it is Literally 5 minutes away from Oktoberfest). The rooms were recently renovated so are quite modern. While this is not a hotel you would lounge around in it is perfect for a city break where you will be out... More

This motel was clean and in a good location for Oktoberfest. Walking distance which is very handy after the event. The staff and service was exceedingly good. The noise of both the steps and road was the only let down. Would highly recommend this motel.

We arrived early, about 11am and were prepared to wait till our check-in but were pleasantly surprised when we were told that our room was ready. Staff was friendly and spoke English well. Our room was on the 5th floor and overlooking the back of the hotel, it was nice and quiet. The room was clean and big enough for two... More

This hotel is a good decision if you are travelling to Munich for a weekend. It is close to downtown (walking about 10-15 min). Rooms have been recently renewed, however they are not very big and the hotel looks older from outside. Price is not very cheap but everything in Munich is expensive, so I'll recommend this hotel as it... More
