The hotel did what I needed; place to sleep and shower. When I asked the front desk aka: concierge how to get to the Oktoberfest Costume Parade (day 2 of fest / tradition) they did not know anything about it and took 3 inquires to get us directions. I have not compared what was around the area but if they... More

We chose this hotel because of how close it was to the rail way station it was just across the road, we stayed for 6 days. We have to say apart from the traffic noise we had an enjoyable stay. Close walk into the main city. The Hotel staff were fantastic so helpful and nothing was too much trouble the... More

Location is the first plus point and front desk service is the second plus point. Room are dated but bed is so comfortable and we have a good sleep after a long flight. Walking distance of less than 5 minutes slow walk from the Munich Train station. Quiet neigbourhood. Though I hated the old carpet but it is also one... More

Had two rooms. 615 with a double and a single and 629 with two twin beds. Both rooms were fine, very comfortable and clean. No AC, but they cooled off with fan just fine. Furnishings and common areas were off just enough to knock it down a notch. The breakfast was great. 4 star for sure. The staff very friendly... More

One of the worst experiences ever. The rooms do not have air conditioning and the stand up fan provided does not help much. So you either suffer the hot temperature or you open the windows and at night don't sleep because of the Central rail station across the road. And this if you manage to open the window! One of... This must have been an impressive hotel - at one time. Sadly times have changed. All looks rather stayed and somewhat disappointing. The hotel is conveniently near to the railway station and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly but.somewhat detached the rooms are of reasonable size, very clean but "cold" and could do with a bit more colour. The... More

The hotel is old and worned down. Must have seen better days.. Not recommended if you are planning a trip to Munich in the summer months. Lack of air-condition and hot rooms forces you to have the window open at night. The hotel is situated close to the railway station which makes it very noisy at night. The staff was... More

It was an easy enough walk from the Hauptbahnhof as we arrive by rail. The room was large and as it was summer comfortable enough once we opened the windows. Reception service was good as they spoke english very well.

I stayed there when I did a city break to Munich. Staff are pleasant and speak perfect English. The lifts are quite small. The rooms are ok, The furniture looks old fashioned. Room was provided with a big fan. A step in shower is only provided in bathroom. The hotel provides Continental Breakfast. There is a small aldi across the... More
