Stayed one night here when I was in the area. They upgraded me because there were no standard rooms left. A bit old fashioned but clean. Good breakfast. Pricing for München okay. Quite place for a big city. Free WiFi, works well too.

Stayed 2 nights in a suite - 2 adults, 2 teenagers. Lovely decor, very "old world". Breakfast was fantastic, served buffet style in the dining room, with ordering available. As another reviewer said, many different things, but everything I had was delicious! Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, including the Mariahilf Catholic church 3 minutes away. 2 nice...

Stayed here with a friend en route to a wedding. Having booked at the last minute, we weren't sure what to expect. It exceeded our expectations - quaint, quiet, charming and beautifully decorated, we were very happy with our stay. The owner was very friendly and accommodating - we had a lot of bags and she swopped our room so...

I was in Munich for the Bauma Fair, and needed a room for the night; During the Fair, prices are rediculously expensive, so my total, in the sunny side of 300 EURO, was expected. I'm sure you'll pay a lot less during normal times. The room I got (number 8), was pretty large and clean. The shower worked fine and...

We stayed this weekend for one night. Three people, one double and one single bedroom. I slept in the single and had a lovely large antique bed. The mat raze was good solid material. (I read someone else's review and they thought it was old furniture, yes it is old and a wild collection but in the good sense). My...

Great breakfast, she made us scrambled eggs in addition to everything out on the buffet. It was a very large room but there was no air conditioning, no safe, the street noise was load and the floors were very squeaky. We had to go get cash because they could not use our credit card which had a chip. The location...

The rooms are small and not particularly clean, they are quite noisy. In one of the rooms we had, the key could not lock the room from inside. Wifi was extremely poor and not working in all rooms. They forniture is not traditional: it is simply old and cheap (our bed was an "Ikea" bed…). Some travel companions forgot to...

We stayed one night at Mariahilf but 5 nights in Germany & Austria in total and Mariahilf was the best. It's quaint, friendly, comfortable, clean, and has the most amazing breakfast. You can check in pretty early - I think our paperwork said 11am - which suited us fine. In reality, you can check in and get your key but...

What made this hotel extra-special was the owner Maria and her staff. So lovely and welcoming. This hotel was built by her parents just after WWII, so it is an old place. Appreciate that! It is very clean, and our beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great and included in our price - made-to-order eggs and a lovely and ample...

If you want traditional, good, clean and comfortable then this is perfect. You have an entrance to the front and rear of the hotel. We stayed in room 8 which was a twin room. It is ideal, plenty of room, sink in the bedroom, telly, window to the front (in a quiet area so don't worry about street noise), you...
