My husband and I had a very pleasant stay here upon arrival in Germany. The location is excellent-across the street from the train station and close to the city center and many sites of interest to tourists. The front desk representatives were friendly and efficient. We were absolutely amazed at the generous breakfast spread in the restaurant! We would definitely return to this hotel again.
This is a classy Old World hotel nicely updated with all the contemporary conveniences. Location is right across from the main train station and a seven-minute walk from one of the largest beer gardens in the country. Tram and U-bahn access is right outside, and shuttle service to the museum area is across the street. Airport access is easy by train and takes around an hour hour, including stops, or you can take the twice hourly Lufthansa-sponsored shuttle for a small fee just a few steps from the hotel entrance and be dropped in front of your airline's terminal. Rooms are bright, airy, and comfortable. Staff is friendly, upbeat, helpful, and professional. Buffet breakfast is served in an elegant dining room and offers a host of hot and cold choices. Overall, a great place to start your exploration of a wonderful city.…
We had a very good quiet stay in this hotel, which was just across the train station. The hotel was kept clean. The staff were ever helpful. Just a short walk to Marienplatz and the beer garden. The location of this hotel is impeccable. Such a wonderful place in Munich.
I have stayed at a variety of different hotels surrounding the Munich train station over the past couple of years. In the last two years I have stayed at three different hotels. On my last visit, I tried the Eden Hotel Wolff. It is directly right across the street from the main entrance (so actually the closest hotel to the station), and it was fabulous. Modern, clean & excellent value for this great convenience. Our room was ready early, and was spotless & very comfortable. The bar & restaurants served up excellent food. At the bar, the waiter went out of his way to find me some home made chips to go with my arrival cocktail (snacks were not on the menu, but I asked anyway - and they delivered). The only thing I would recommend is to get a rate with breakfast included. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, but if it's not included in your rate, it's quite pricey. I will be staying her on my next visit. Thank you management & staff for a very pleasant stay.…
We visited this hotel to start our family summer holiday. A true disappointment and not worth the money. There is simply no hot water available in the bathroom, only cold water. When we called the reception desk for support, they immediately sent an engineer. He ran the hot water taps (not a single drop again) and he admitted that there was nothing he could do as the hotel water system is not able to keep up with the number of guests using hot water simultaneously. So you only get cold showers. When we settled the bill, we made a comment about the sustained absence of hot water. The front desk officer sighed deeply and nodded, clearly aware of the problem and unhappy with it. Next door is a brand new NH hotel. You may try that one!
Great location , lovely and elegant old hotel well renovated except for horrible shower with water coming in hot and cold with little water pressure. Really good breakfast, nice lobby with bar and the best location. Across from the Hauptbahnhof with U Bahn access and close to downtown and all the art museums, Gasthöf and shops. I did complain and ask for help with the shower which arrived immediately but no changes.
We had two nights booked at the Eden Hotel Wolff through booking.com. We never received a courtesy confirmation or reminder of our reservation from Eden Hotel Wolff and made other reservations. As such, we were charged $375 as no-shows! We spoke to the hotel about this and got no satisfaction. When we discovered this charge, we had time to cancel the second night and not be charged. But they wouldn't do it. When booking with this hotel either directly or through booking.com don't expect the common courtesy of a confirmation or reminder e-mail.
Staff were very helpful with information of the local area. Disappointed on arrival to my room no coffee no tea. Mini bar in the room, never used. The hotel was perfect location opposite the station. The pillow on the bed uncomfortable.
The location was great, the staff was super nice and helpful, Specially the concierge, forgot his name, Dominique(?!). He was always so helpful, nice and polite. He booked a lovely dinner and opera for my friend's birthday. Thank you so much for that:) The room was nice and very clean and the bar drinks were also tasty, of course a bit too sweet for my taste. Disliked · The bed was very hard ( the add on bed). I asked to replace it for a softer one but it was still bad. They don't really have to full bed size, instead they just add 2 twin beds together that acts as a full bed. For the 3rd person they bring you a small one which was not comfortable at all. The window should be fixed to allow less light since curtain did not stop the light from coming in at 6am. So I never had a nice night sleep. The Wifi connection was very, very bad, it never worked for us, unless you go to the main are such as bar, dining area. This was very inconvenient, specially when you are trying to book your tours late at night. The staff at night was also supper nice, friendly. This location was great, close to trains, bus, tram and walking distance to many sights including Marienplatz only 10 minutes away.…
What a great hotel!! The location coumd not be better. We walked around for a few hours and saw so many amazing churches, parks and fountains!! The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!
