My husband and I were married back in September and we went to Germany, Switzerland and Austria for our honeymoon. Our last stop was back to Munich for the last three nights which we stayed in The Drei Loewen hotel. We had a wonderful experience with the staff (Daniel at the front desk was the best), the room, and the... More

This hotel has clearly been refurbished recently to a high standard. The rooms are spacious, stylish, warm and welcoming with excellent bathrooms. I had asked for a standard single room and I was given an enormous double room with a huge bathroom. There was a large flat screen television, mini bar and and plenty of nice things in the bathroom.... More

I booked this through booking.com and it had been recommended by my travel agent as well. The prices were good and the location, while in what appears to be a sketchy neighborhood, was convenient to the train station and to Marienplatz. I had attempted to confirm my reservation directly with the hotel and they had been rude when I called... More

Stayed there for four nights with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. Front desk was wonderful. The bahn was a two minute walk from the hotel and Marienplatz was about 10 min walk. Great hotel!

I am a frequent traveler for business and the Hotel Drei Löwen was one the worst hotel experiences I have ever had with the worst hotel manager I have ever encountered. I booked a room at the hotel for the last weekend of the Oktoberfest. After a very exhausting trip to Munich, I arrived at the hotel to be told... More

Mold an walls, dirty walls, aircon control is from 20 years ago, door handle broken, 2 single beds instead of one double bed as booked, reception staff not interested when i mentioned the room quality, NOT a 4*STAR hotel at all, don't recommend. Extraordinary bad experience

We stayed two nights in october 2016. The hotel is situated very conveniently near Hauptbahnhof ( central station) and city center/Altstadt. Resp. 3 minutes and 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Room was quiet and pleasant, but we missed coffee and tea maker ( should be present in a four star hotel). Breakfast was just great. Staff was helpful and... More

We stayed here during Octoberfest. Our room was two floors up from the busy street with a noisy cafe across the way. We dreaded our first night as it seemed as though we would get no sleep due to the noise from the city and Octoberfest guests. We were so happily surprised!! This hotel gets an A+ for quiet and...
