Ok, fleas in the beds, that's the beginning. It was disgusting. Second, the guy who worked in the hotel kept letting himself in my room, while I was asleep. I had confronted him and he said he was concerned about me (I was jet-lagged). Hotel ended up comping me a night. The bathrooms were small and disgusting and had roaches...

A great location, with lots of little great restaurants directly across the street, or even next door. Also, there are supermarkets and what not for the budget travelers. My room was on an upper floor, I believe the highest. For this reason, it had charm. The ceilings were all on 45 degree angles, and some were clad in pine board....

Our group was based at the Hotel Savoy during the World Cup in June 2006. I would recommend it to anyone for the following reasons: 1. It offers a very extensive breakfast. You can choose from an English style breakfast, to an very German Breakfast, to a Italian/French Breakfast. For Lunch and Dinner, across the road, eat at Gasthaus Maxvorstadt,...

We stayed in the Savoy in September 2005. We found it to be in a great location city wise. A short walk from 2 Metro train stations which gave us excellent access to the cities great attractions. It is also a short walk (4 blocks?) to the Englisch Garten and all its wonders. The room was quite large by our...

Having looked at the hotel's website, we booked a twin room through the internet-using a link from the Munich tourist board. Our booking was for seven nights, so we were hoping for a comfortable room-as shown on the website. When we arrived we were given room 401, but we were exceedingly disappointed to find a very small room-not much bigger...

We made a reservation for 2 double rooms with DOUBLE BED in December. When we arrived to the hotel we were given twin rooms. These rooms are totally different than the rooms pictured on their website. It was the worst anyone can imagine. The rooms were dirty and there was no heating. The breakfast room was full so that I...

I booked the Savoy online, so I didn't know what to expect. The rooms were clean, the breakfast adequate. Our concerns were the noise level. The street is very busy, so there were cars/trucks at all hours driving past. It doesn't matter how high up you go, you can still hear the traffic...especially since we needed to keep the window...

Room is spacious, clean and simple. Friendly staff, and good breakfast. It was a little out of our budget as we stayed there during the Oktoberfast. Overall a nice hotel.
