Spacious apartment for a great price. Modern, clean, cozy. Not far from the city centre. It is even a walkable distance. Parking available at the hotel. There is always someone at the reception so there is a lack of privacy but apart from that my stay was great.
Hotel looked better in pictures – pillows were crap balls of fluff I would not stay here again for this reason as you need to get your sleep - asked 3 times for better pillows but they were all the same - and I'm talking very bad - to have a nice modern looking hotel you need decent pillows for the guests – safe not working – remote not working – free coffee machine was good – reviews said everything was wonderful but staff were not that friendly - we asked for train/tram tickets and were told to buy them at the station but online here and in the hotel I thought other people got them from reception but asked twice and was told no – only 1 soap – no toiletries – didn’t come and clean the room - at check in didn't explain this and didn't explain we had to take our rubbish out – subway down the road – tram outside was good 3 stops to main train station was the only benefit and rooms were good size…
This hotel was in a great location and perfect for our family. There is a tram station directly in front of the hotel, and the main train station and Marionplatz are both less than a kilometre away. We particularly enjoyed the Augustiner Beerhause that was nearby. Breakfast was wonderful and had many items to choose from. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Nice size apartments, walking distance to the central station (or trams right outside). Nice breakfast but found it hard to get a table as was quite busy. Very helpful and friendly staff. A bit of a walk to restaurants but some nice ones 10 to 15 minutes walk away.
was in Munich on a family visit and needed accommodation for 3 with no frills..well located and priced. Citadines fitted the bill.Apartment was well designed and comfortable..Public transport easily accessible and staff on the whole accommodating and friendly. Will be happy to return.
We selected this place as we were thinking of using the gym facility and it seems convenient enough, in a pretty good neighbourhood. The classic room is alright, no complaints, just a minor fact that there’s no refrigerator in the room. The only reason we ranked it 3 stars, through no fault of the hotel but ours, is that it’s sooo far away from either train stations in both directions. We ought to have researched better; though this place will be perfect for those who have their own wheels. We were out most of the time and ended up not using the gym at all.
We stayed at Citadines Anulfpark on two separate occasions during our trip and it was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, including free WiFi, towels and toiletries. On the first occasion though, although it was a 2 bedroom unit like the 2nd time we stayed, it was significantly smaller. The closet for one of the bedrooms was located in the hall. But otherwise it was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The location is central if you don't mind walking for about 10 minutes, but there are tram and bus stops right outside. There isn't a lot of food options around though.
Stayed here for a long weekend and was really pleased. Rooms very modern and spacious and comfortable beds. Reception staff helpful. Great location really accessible via bus, tram or S-Bahn. Get tickets from reception for transport as than using machines. Would stay again great price for what we got.
Ideally located very near the central train station and only a few stops away from Karlsplatz. Tram (or in our case bus) stop just outside the hotel. Although we arrived at midnight and had a mix up with the room (sofa bed wasn't made and there was no housekeeping service at that hour) they offered us an extra room immediately and shorted everything out the next morning. The friendliest and most helpful staff I've seen recently! Room was ok, very spacious, but certainly not the cleanest! However,I definitely recommend this hotel for a brief stay, visiting Christmas markets in Munich.
the Positive; The night manager was very polite and helpful The negatives: the couple we went with first got a room with pests/buggs in the bathroom. They complained and got a new room with smaller pests... No compensation whats so ever. For our part, the toilet was broken, noone in the hotel could help until the morning, apparantly they have no technitian on staff. No help was offered even though we had small children. We will never use Citadines again. Worst experience in Münich of a so called 4 star hotel I've ever experienced.
