Like many others we had scaffolding up outside our room with workmen drilling from 7.30am. I cannot describe how loud this was. We couldn't even hear each other speak. There was brick dust pouring through the windows as this went on. At one point we were asked (by the builders not the staff) to vacate our room so they could... More

Before you book double check if the building works aren't still ongoing? The rooms have no air conditioning and are unbearably hot. You can't open the window at night as its on a busy road and the scaffolding and sheeting I'm sure trap more of the heat. Heavy drilling starts at 7.30 so if you want to lie in forget... More

The hotel was moderately priced and the photos looked nice, but that's not what we got. Rooms stink, no climate control, humidity is high, everything is dirty, the building is under major construction. The views are terrible and even those are blocked by scaffolding. It's very hot in the room and although the windows open and you are provided with... More

Usually, the trip advisor reviews do not steer me wrong, but this time they did. The room was tired. Decorated from the 70's perhaps. No air conditioning and a little tiny desk fan was all that was available for relief from the 30 degree weather. The whole front of the hotel was covered in scaffolding and tarps. No breeze through... More

The hotel was undergoing some major external work during the daytime and both the front and back of the building was covered by scaffolding. We were told of this work well before we arrived so could have cancelled if we chose. The room was on the second floor facing the street which could be a bit noisy. The room was... More

We were not notified that there was construction going on at the hotel till we got here. Besides having to share the lift with the guys moving construction stuff it wasn't too bad until we were woken at 7 am by workers walking on the scaffolding outside our window. By 720 work was fully started with grinding and drilling going... More

I booked this hotel well ahead of when we arrived, for a four day stay over a weekend in March 2016 and consequently got a good price. The location is very convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby, a short walk to the main railway station and only a bit further to the very touristy Marienplatz area. When we checked-in the... Arrived to find our 4 bedroom suite was unavailable (reserved in July 2015) and told we would transfer to their sister hotel with same accommodations but when we arrived we were give a one room (suite?) with a couch bed. No refund, no discount , no apology , no way we'll ever return or recommend.

Stayed two nights (Friday till Sunday, 3rd floor) so obviously there wasn't any construction noise. Room was fairly big, even had a small kitchen. Clean and central, price was ok too. Like many other places, keep in mind that the bottle of water standing there will cost you a lot more (4 Euros) than getting one from the supermarket.

The hotel is covered in scaffolding front and back. Jackhammers and hammering from 7:30 am. we were not told of the construction works when we booked and charged full price despite the works noise we complained of on the first morning. A friend was then charged for minibar items he didn't consume. when he objected at check out they insisted... More
