Very good location overseeing the cadtles. Big room and very clean. Personal at reception and atteding the restaurant very good and EXCELLENT breakfast assorment and quality of the food! It s worth it to spend one night minimum here. Also to do a runout over the Alpsee is very good. Nice sunrise and beautiful sunset.

It's just great. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely designed. It has the perfect location. The restaurant is also nice. The breakfast too. Don't forget to order your tickets for the castles directly from reception (with NO additional cost) - it's way more convenient than queuing at the ticket counter. The only negative thing: the Cheese Cake at the restaurant... More

Spent one night here with my friend, visiting the area and the two castles. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, arranging tickets for the next day. Breakfast is great. A lot of food choices, cold meats, eggs, cucumber, fruits, yummy breads. Room was nice and very clean. I really recommend this hotel, for the quality and the amazing location!

It very good to stay for one night before castle tour. Staffs were nice andwelcoming. The room was a bit small but was very clean and enough space to keep all 4 huge bags we got. There was a bathtub also eventhough it was a very small bathroom. And reasonable price:) Special thanks to the staff who arrange a tray... More

Very clean rooms and very friendly staff! The hotel is centrally located around the castles. They offered free breakfast which was nice and we ate at their restaurant that evening and they offered very good German food with a nice atmosphere.

This place has history. This place has character. This place has a great location. With our package, we had tickets to each castle, the museum, and the horse carriage up to Neuschwanstein (plus breakfast), but what really made this place special wasn't our gorgeous view of the castle or outstanding lovely room, but the people of the staff. They made... More

This was a great place for visiting the Hohenschwangau castle and Neushwanstein castle. It is near the pick-up area for the bus and carrage ride to the castles. The hotel staff also got our tickets to the castles, so we didn't have to wait 40 minutes in line at the ticket office. The room was clean & spacious. Wifi only... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Muller lies at the end of the “Romantic Road” through Germany, right beneath Hohenschwangau Castle, the childhood and youth residence of King Ludwig II, his “poetic retreat”. It makes the ideal base for day trips to the surrounding area. One possible excursion is the “Castle Tour”: Linderhof – Herrenchiemsee – Nymphenburg. Or you could get to know the Pfaffenwinkel, which literally means “priests’ corner”, with its ancient testimonies to church architecture, such as St. Coloman, the Pilgrimage Church of Wies, Ettal Abbey, the pilgrimage churches of Andechs, Rottenbuch, and Altenstadt, and many more. Or visit the idyllic nearby villages: Fussen, with its historical old town; Oberammergau, famous for its passion play, or the world-famous winter sports villages of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberstdorf, etc. ... more   less
