This small and friendly hotel, is on 4 flours with an elevator. We had free parking right outside, and good free WiFi. It's easy to walk to the train station from here, where you can ride to the top of Germany's highest peak (Zugspitze). The hotel is very well located, with shops & restaurants on the doorstep. We had a...

Generally the opposite is true but this hotel is better than the fotos. The owners as well as the staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The location is central, only 500m away from shopping street and 400m away from the skibus stop (the lift is app. 1.2km away) Breakfast was also nice.

We stayed here a couple of years ago, and as we wanted to spend longer in Garmisch this trip, had to return to this property. Family owned and operated, very friendly and helpful. In close proximity to walk to shops and cafes/restaurants. The bus to the station is at the end of the street. The recent addition of the elevator...

This is a great hotel for families. We had our daughter and her husband, plus our two teenage grandsons with us. Being grandpa and grandma we had our own room, number 214 and our family was just down the hall. The rooms were very roomy with very modern bathrooms. Our room faced the back of the hotel that offered a...

Just returned from a visit with the family to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and we stayed at Almenrausch and Edelweiss for about 8 days and rented two rooms for our family. First, let me say, the elevator has been installed and is up and running. This was a question I had difficulty finding a definitive answer to before our trip. Every single time...

Family owned and very friendly! Our room was on top floor, a corner with balconies are both sides. The sunsets were breath taking! Clean and a new modern bathroom. Breakfast was lovely with a waitress providing all the coffee we wanted to drink. Location was great; not a long walk to the center of town with a variety of restaurants....

We had a great stay here! It was really last minute but they still had a room that matched our wishes. Awesome breakfast and very galant innkeeper! Complimentary parking was included and the room was clean.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every minute. The second floor room was spacious and well equipped. The location is extremely convenient and walking distance to everything in town. The innkeeper and his wife were warm and personable and very eager to please. The included breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. We would recommend this hotel with...

Stayed here for one night on a short excursion from Munich (45 minutes away). I chose this hotel for the price and it was more than I expected. This hotel is more of a B&B than a traditional hotel. The innkeeper, Max, could not be more accommodating. Upon request, Max saw to it my room has a great view of...

While somewhat dated, the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden. The balcony was shared with another room, so there were a few odd times when the neighbors in the room next store were looking right into our bedroom because the table they used sat right at our room window. Was disappointed in the breakfast - very little...
