This hotel was nicely situated on the south side of town right on the Isar River, away from the bustle of the town center but close enough to walk everywhere. It was unassuming on the outside, though charming as all buildings in Mittenwald are. Our room, though was really nice. Typical Bavarian, with pine furniture and art made it cosy;...

This was a beautiful-looking hotel in a perfect location. My partner and I booked an apartment style room - it was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was also really close to town as well as the beautiful hiking trails in Mittenwald. However, the customer service was lacking, and host was not very helpful throughout our stay. I've stayed in...

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Gästehaus Edlhuber for our anniversary. We walked there from the train station without a problem, and our host was very friendly and flexible the whole time. And the room! A gorgeous view of the mountains, spacious and with a huge and very comfortable bed, beautiful wood furniture and fixtures, and a...

My boyfriend and I have been here twice now (2011 &2013)... review is a little late, but I doubt much has changed. I have to say that it is one of the best places that we stayed on our European vacation. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, the owner is a dream to work with and very kind, and...

Friendly bi-lingual hostess. We arrived and ended up switching rooms based on me being chilly (which worked out great for a couple with dogs, so they could have a room right up front for their dogs). Our room was toward the back, which made for a quiet stay. The two rooms we saw both had a kitchen area for light...

The accommodations were great and our 2-room room on the second floor was large and had a nice countryside view from the balcony. The view through the skylight was of a mountain top as Mittenwald is in the heart of the Alps. The breakfast was typical and well prepared. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area.

It's the second time we are staying at the Edlhuber. We were really impressed the first time we stayed here in 2010, so decided to book it again for our second visit now. The place is really charming, clean, and tastefully decorated in the rustic Landhaus style. It's about a 10 minute walk from the pretty town center with its...

Fantastic breakfast with mixed cereals, mixed meat and cheese, egg, breakfast drinks, large room, really gorgeous view from the balcony, host was a local and was really helpful in finding places to eat and things to do. Just a heads up, owner has two dogs freely romping about in the place. They're very nice friendly dogs, nothing threatening. I personally...

Last month we (grandparents, 2 kids and me - ages 11-86) spend six nights at the hotel Edelhuber in Mittenwald. The location is great on the edge of the village away from roads. Next to the hotel is the Isar river and there is a direct view to the mountain backdrop. The owner is very friendly and always helpful. The...
