We stayed here twice while visiting family in Ulm. The first night we had a room overlooking the station platform. The room was too warm and the only means of cooling it was to open the window as there was no air-conditioning. This meant suffering the noise of arriving and departing trains as well as announcements which continued through the night. On our second stay of three nights we had a first floor room facing the street. There was a lot of construction work going on although we were not disturbed by this. We were however disturbed by the noise of groups of people who hung around the entrance to the station as well as traffic noise. Again the choice was to either suffer the overly warm room or be disturbed by street noise. Needless to say, we did not sleep well at all.
The cleaning staff either appeared very early before we were ready to go for breakfast or, as happened on the second morning of our stay, did not service the room at all. When we contacted reception to report this we were told the cleaning staff had all gone home.
Breakfast was adequate but the breakfast room was dark and dismal with rather unfriendly staff. On our last morning we were more or less asked to leave at 10 when breakfast officially finished.
We will never stay there again!

It’s an efficient business hotel right in the train station. I had to stay for a night and head back the next day. I could collect my luggage from hotel within 10 minutes and I could catch my next train. Breakfast is decent and staff are courteous.

only one min from train station Ulm to hotel. There are so many restaurants and shops nearby. Suitable for business travelers. The room is tidy, but the desk is low. The chair doesn't fit for the desk. It is uncomfortable using the desk.

As with most (if not all) Intercity hotels, this one is perfectly placed on the Hbf. My only criticism of arrival was that the platform entrace was not open, so we had to walk around to the front!
On arrival, staff were superb, and the hotel open areas and the rooms were clean and felt COVID safe.
Room was quiet, and room facvilities to the usual standard.
All in all an excellent stay!

A very noisy hotel, the street noise with teenagers yelling and cars roaring up and down screaching showing off was very bad. The weather was quite warm and with no air conditioning in the hotel & no bar fridge in our room it made for a very unpleasant stay, We were positioned right above the main entrance of the hotel on the first floor, and it was necessary for us to open the window in the afternoon to get some relief from the stuffy room being closed all day, as I said with no air conditioning! we had four days there and I must say it was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.

The manager didn't want to know about it, he just shrugged his shoulders, anything from the mini bar (what mini bar) there was just a hole in the wall just pay your 388 euros for your room. Thankyou, they don't care. I think we should have been given a reduction in our room price for not being able to keep our drinks cold! it was very overpriced for the the comfort we were expecting but didn't receive.

Room with a view on the train station. Last train was around 12.30am, first train around 5.30am. Train noise made it impossible for me to sleep more than 5 hours. I called the reception to ask for a different room, but none was available. No earplugs offered.

Free wifi was slow, so upgraded to a faster option for Euro 8 per day.

Really must avoid this hotel during summer. It was 35C, the hotel has no air-condition, the room was like sauna. I asked for a fan but the hotel ran out of fan. I did not sleep the whole night, it is just too warm. With the window opened, the heat is still unbearable, note sunset is around 9:30 pm. If your room is facing the train track, it will be noisy from the trains. If your room is facing the Taxi Stand, it will be noisy from the people below talking very loud. Seriously avoid it during summer.

This hotel clearly divides opinion. We too stayed one night as part of a Treyn holiday. On entering one (the only) disgruntled member of our party was heard to mutter "Back to civilisation at last". This is a bleak, cheerless hotel with ridiculously wide corridors which could have increased the size of the rooms - in our case almost doubled it. The room was difficult to get into with large cases and the single beds were far too low for anyone with knee or back problems to easily get into or up from. One reviewer mentions the convenience but had a quiet room. Our room was directly over one of the lines and we could have abseiled onto Platform 1. There was no noticeable sound proofing. No point in going to bed before 11, and the first heavy train went through about 4, with station announcements following from about 5.30. Very few of our party got very much sleep The evening meal as just about adequate, but you had to like red cabbage. I do, but even then could not manage all of it. A disappointing end to the overall trip and we have told Treyn that we will not be interested in another trip which uses this hotel. Why could we not have gone on to Mannheim InterCity which we had used on the way out - very much better, see review.

As a world traveler, this was my worst hotel experience to date. The staff would not honor their website rates so we paid more. Upon entering our room, we discovered it had no AC. The front desk receptionist ensured me the train stops operating at 10pm and resumes operation at 7am. We could leave the window open to cool the room. The train operated all night. With the noise and the heat, we could not sleep. When I addressed this to the receptionist in the morning, I was informed this was the first time the trains operated overnight. One lie after another. Find another hotel in Ulm as the staff are dishonest people with no ethical standards.

Really bad experience. I travelled for bussines. The hotel doesnt have AIR CON.
I dont understand how a Hotel in 2018 could not offer in their room AIR CON.
The area in front off the hotel is under costruction.
Next to train station, 5 minutes walking form centre.
