This review is based on us staying for one night on the way to Italy. And we decided to look for a hotel in the cheap range. We found Hotel Abalon, which is a three star hotel, no more no less. The hotel allows for smokers in all areas except the rooms for none-smokers. The breakfast is fairly slim, but... More

A sudden change in travel plans had me selecting a hotel from a major booking site with no advance research, and I lucked out. The hotel seems a bit out of the way, and yet it is reachable by UBahn and also an enjoyable walk from the train station. A bit confusing to enter as there are entrances on two... More

This hotel is a good stay if you want to be in the city centre but don't want the noise of the busy streets (5 minute walk to the more central shopping and historic buildings). The room itself was clean and spacious, plus we had access to a "private" outdoor terrace. The hotel makes use of sustainable and eco-friendly practices... More

Great little hotel with fantastic service. As breakfast is served after 7 and I had to leave at 5am, they were so kind to prepare a takeaway breakfast bag for me. Thank you! Good parking facilities under the hotel.

Wanted a hotel close to Chistma as Markets and in a safe neighborhood. The area is residential and safe to walk in. Many restaurants, especially Bassa, close by. 10 minute walk to large shopping area. A little pricey, but it is Christmas. Not a big chain feel.

We stayed here for one night to meet friends and go to the Christmas Market. Large simple rooms with small kitchen and comfortable bed. Small bathroom was very clean and orderly. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Good value.

Look at first minutes as an IBIS hotel. I check in late in the night so I play James Bond to obtain key of my room. But it was Ok and clear at the end due to their recommendation. I have one of biggest rooms, clean and sleep was ok. Breakfast one of the best I ever had, and ladies... More

We were breaking up a long journey but wanted a chance to be close to Stuttgart so we could wander into the city. This hotel had secure underground parking and seemed to have plenty of spaces. It took us no more than 15 minutes to walk right into centre of city to see the main buildings. The receptionist was really... More

The people who run this hotel are wonderful. The place is under renovation/construction (July 2014) and will be lovely when it is all finished. It is a small personal hotel and there is a genuine concern for the guests and for the creation of an ecologically sound and architecturally interesting boutique hotel. The location can't be beat - in a... More
