The hotel is in a great location close to Stadtmitte.Though not so inspiring from the outside once you are in the hotel you can see the quality. The furnishings and décor are to a high standard and the bedroom was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again!

This hotel lies just at the top end of the Konigstrasse, a gentle 20 minute walk from the main station. The reception area was very small but the welcome was warm and efficient. Walking down the narrow corridor to my room I felt a touch of the time-warps, and my bedroom proved to be just that. It was small though... More

The room was clean and everything was by the book, just what you expect from a hotel. Even though the hotel is old fashion, the bathroom is new and modern. The stuff is polite. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. Only the mattress on the bed was a little too old.

I stayed here for three nights while on business in Stuttgart. The room and hotel had all the basic amenities you'd want in a business hotel. There is a typical European breakfast every morning (who really eats blood sausages at 7 am) with very few "healthy" choices of fresh fruit, but I made do with the sort of "soft" boiled... More

We had to book hotels last minute due to the terrorist attacks in Belgium. We were supposed to go to Brussels but had to go to Germany instead. We booked the Royal Hotel the day of and we really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was interesting in that parts of it were updated and modern while other parts were not. For... More

The Hotel has an old charm to it, clean and very neat. Our double room was spacious, beautiful wood frame window that could open really wide. Well situated close to the metro, and very central so that you could walk easily into town and see landmarks. Warm breakfast available, and a large variety of cold breakfast food available too. Unfortunately... More

My husband and I stayed for one night in this hotel during the beer festival. The first impression of this hotel wasn't great, as the outside doesn't look really nice, however we were happily surprise when we get into the hotel. The room was fabulous, two bathrooms, one with bath and the other one with a really nice walking shower.... More

I was really disappointed. The wifi was so bad, could hardly get any work done and kept losing signal. There was no shower curtain, so after a shower the bathroom was flooded. The noise from the street was really bad during night. Average breakfast. At least the staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location.... More

I was unlucky to get the room with broken shower mixer. I've reported it to reception, and was told, that everything will be fixed next day. However, shower was not fixt during 3 days of my stay and room was not changed too. There even were no apology. Breakfast is poor, no hot dishes except eggs. Location is good, but... More

When I approached the hotel, I thought oh no. The outside is a bit dreary. However, once you enter the door, it is a real nice surprise. The staff are very welcoming and the hotel is very smart. The rooms are amazing value! We had a bedroom, lounge and bathroom. The staff are very helpful. The location of the hotel... More
