I booked a room in the Novum Rieker online. From their website I was seeing a pretty nice-looking place with an attractive price as well. I booked what they call a budget room and was startled to learn upon arrival that “budget” means no bathroom. The woman at reception was kind enough to point that out to me and I...

old German hotel, feels like i went back to the 80s. rooms are old and stuffy, the area is very noisy, so ask for room facing court yard. service is slow. no air condition, so avoid in summer. few minutes walk from main station.

Location was excellent, just a minute walk from Stuttgart Main Railway Station, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms were not renovated for some time and my room was not cleaned well.

Having used the Novum Reiker previously for business purposes, I was already aware that the hotel was tired and in need of a much needed facelift. However, it is well located to the train station and its appearance hadn't affected my comfort up until my most recent visit. It was unfortunate to note that upon entry to the ironing room...

The Novum hotel is a nice enough place, good staff, well lit room and bathroom, but the booking website we used was misleading. It claimed that rooms were air conditioned. The fact that it wasn't would've been fine if it weren't for the fact that we stayed at this hotel in the sweltering Stuttgart heat, but things were made worse...

If you need to just sleep this place is fine. The room and bathroom is clean and the shared shower is also fine. The room for a single person is fine. I did not have breakfast. The location to the main station is great so if you have an early morning train from Stuttgart Hbf it is perfect. The wall...

While the hotel does look a bit dated, it didnt affect my comfort. For the price, it was suitable. I quite liked the large windows that I could open up. The bedding was comfortable as well. Adequate amounts of space. Excellent location to the Metro and central station. My main issue was with the door handles - more than once...

I booked this hotel solely for the proximity to Hbf. Great location for the Christmas markets too. The hotel itself had helpful staff with great English. The rooms however were a disappointment. The showers were stained and couldn't contain water, it was cold in december with no spare blankets. In the morning when opening the curtaims we saw a heater...

Good points: *Excellent location (could not get much more central Stuttgart). *Friendly staff. *Clean hotel and rooms. *Free WiFi. Bad points: *Outdated (needs modernising quite urgently). *Double bed only comes with 2 single duvets. *Lack of amenities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. For the price we could not complain. Much cheaper option than all the other hotels in central...
