I visited Christmas markets in Stuttgart and stayed in Kronen hotel for one night. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Christmas market. Hotel provides on-site parking for €18 a day. hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly and their services is good. All Stuff members speak English. Elizabeth was an amazing host who made our breakfast experience even more special. is an added, bonus hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas.

Stayed for one night with colleagues as it was very close to the main train station. Check in was easy and a nice touch of water and fruit available for guests in reception. Room was very cozy and like the hotel itself spotless clean. Breakfast is very good, be sure you have it great choice and good coffee. The best part though is the staff, we had gone out for dinner (the hotel does not have a restaurant for evening food) and on the way back I had left my glasses in the taxi (as I later found out). I had no number or anything else for the taxi as the restaurant had booked it for us. We had gone to the bar for a drink when I discovered this and I asked the lady on reception if she could ring the restaurant to see if I had left them there, As it happened I had not but she managed to track down the taxi and had them returned to me, it must have taken her about 30 minutes. This level of care for guests is rare these days and I wish I had taken note of her name to thank her again. This was a representation of all the staff I interacted with her customer care is important to them. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

My 2nd and lost stay in this hotel. It was not a great succes. I slept 3 nights mid September. And temperatures during the day were around 25/30. The room was very very hot. The AC did not work. The manager came and told me it will not work under 20. Yes. But it’s almost 30… all in all I have had this discussion 3 times. Manger just refuses to take any responsibility. Very impolite. “You are sweating, you are the only one, I can not help it”. Open the window of your hot. Well for a 3 night stay for 450 euros. This is the most rudest answer ever. My only advice. Skip this hotel. And skip room 165 if you consider…. Staff at reception is rude, manager is rude. Bar is always empty and not cozy at all… only good thing? The breakfast buffet is outstanding. And the managers wife is very friendly. Maybe she can teach him and the team some hospitality lessons.

This is a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend it. The rooms are cool and comfortable, the bed linens are high quality and the bed comfort is excellent. But my favorite thing about Kronenhotel is the lovely owner and her beautiful garden courtyard. Elisabeth went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and was always anticipating our needs before we ourselves realized them (like plentiful coffee!). The breakfast buffet was extensive, and everything I tasted was delicious. The courtyard is filled with beautiful flowering plants, especially hydrangeas. We spent as much time as we could there because it felt like a beautiful peaceful oasis.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in a deluxe double with breakfast included. I chose this hotel based on its location near Stuttgart Hbf and reviews. My reason for visiting Stuttgart was to visit the Mercedes Benz and Porsche Museums. They were well worth the visit. Otherwise, Stuttgart is pleasant but rather short on special attractions, unless you are into shopping, because there are a lot of shops! Arrival at the Stuttgart Hbf was a bit of a surprise because it is a mess due to a major reconstruction being underway. The hotel is within walking distance but if you use Google Maps, do not take its recommended route to the hotel because it involves a ton of steps. Instead, follow the signs out to the S trains, cross the main street and walk a block up either Konigstrasse or Lautenschlagerstrasse and then turn right onto Kronenstrasse and follow that until you get to the hotel. Check in time is a late 4pm. I arrived at 2.30pm and was accommodated immediately. May not always happen of course but this was appreciated. The room was lovely. Large - with a separate seating area - clean, very well equipped, light - overlooking a large central courtyard - and quiet. Had a fridge and large tv (could not find any English language stations however). No tea and coffee making facilities. Very comfy bed. The breakfast room was large and overlooking a central garden and there was a wide selection of food. There was a separate residents' lounge on level 1, a bar adjacent to the breakfast room and 24hr reception. Wifi was healthy. I would definitely stay here again if I were to revisit Stuttgart.

Wow! Another amazing stay at our favorite hotel in Europe. This is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in including some of the high end branded hotels. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. They remember us and our names from past visits. The Bergers, who manage the hotel, treat us like family. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and main shopping street. The neighborhood is very safe. I cannot begin to describe all of the excellent breakfast selections on the buffet. Eggs are cooked to order. They have a nice variety of teas. One of my favorite coffees is their cappuccino! The bar has a good choice of beers and spirits. Bar service is available all day. Our room had a mini bar with beer, water and cola which was a nice treat after a day of shopping or touring. The garden is beautiful. It is a great place to relax and kick back. We thoroughly enjoyed the 10 days we stayed there.

Let me preface this review by saying that we have been traveling the world for the past 1 1/2 years after we retired. We have stayed in MANY HOTELS along the way, and this hotel stood out in so many ways! The location. Is good. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Quiet safe area The room was spacious (big bed, sofa and two chairs, and a desk with another chair) . The bathroom Is large with a steam shower with eucalyptus and a towel warmer. Very nice experience. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with everything made in house, served in a bright dining room that looks into a garden. Tables with starched table cloths, beautiful China and heavy silver. The most dramatic difference from other hotels was the owners and staff. It is owner operated, and the attention to details is obvious! They anticipated our needed and provided more than expected. It was such a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Sure didn’t expect 10 star service for the price we paid. Thank youElizabeth and Anton!❤️

As other reviewers have mentioned the location of this hotel is good, quietly tucked away but close to transport and centre. The room was large and clean, beds were ok but pillows far too soft for someone with neck issues, I asked but unfortunately these soft pillows were all they had to offer. I also had a literal world first of slipping getting out of the shower, it had a very narrow entrance and an incredibly smooth base that dips right were you step in/out. When wet that dip is extremely slippery, some kind of texture on the tiles or base would be helpful, maybe a bar at the entrance (there was one inside the shower). I’m terms of service the young lady that checked us in and the young gentleman at breakfast were both lovely and helpful. However the lady that checked us out (black curly hair) was extremely rude. Honestly the attitude and distain we received after asking if our bags could be held for 2 hours after checkout while we awaited our train was again, a world first. My husband and I were both shocked at how she spoke to us. At 200€ per night no less. Wouldn’t stay again.

We had another wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff is very welcoming. They even remembered us from our last visit which was 4 years ago. We are always treated like family. The hotel is exceptionally clean. It is convenient to the central train station and the main shopping area. The breakfast buffet is amazing. There is a variety of unique foods along with the standard offerings. Everything is freshly made and presented well. Eggs are cooked to order. The garden is delightful. While it was too cold for us to fully enjoy the garden seating it is beautiful in spring to relax with a nice selection of beverages. Please consider the Kronen Hotel for your next visit to Stuttgart.

The perfect city hotel. Very central to downtown and five minutes from train station, but in a quiet side street. Room was very comfortable. Excellent bed and shower. Buffet breakfast starts nice and early and has wide variety of delicious choices. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. So nice to get a more personal touch than one gets at a chain. Highly recommend and will stay again.
