Stayed here for a conference and had it not been for this reason would have probably stayed elsewhere. It is a decent German chain hotel but this property just feels tired. Room decor is very late 80s / 90s. Property is very large and probably serves many conferences. Good points. 1. Great location for center of town. 2. Has plenty of shopping near by. 3. Public transport easy to catch 4. Great breakfast Needs improvement: 1. Room decor 2. Toiletteries 3. Lay out and getting to rooms 4. Gym/ fitness center is horrible. Overall it is fine, but takes me back to 1990s.

Dear guest, thank you very much again for your stay with us and also for your comment on Tripadvisor. It is nice to see that you enjoyed your time here over all. It is probably right that you can’t compare our 2016 refurbished, more classical quipped hotel completely with a modern design hotel. And yes, it is indeed right that it is a bit to walk between the main building with the big conference hall and the rooms in the park wing. But therefore the rooms in the park wing are even quieter as the rooms in the main building are already. The separation into two buildings is due to Stuttgart’s inner city construction code and the size of our hotel – with 555 rooms the biggest hotel in Baden-Württemberg. It is also right that we don’t have any possible amenities in the bathroom. Often the packages are only opened to look what is inside and we have to replace them afterwards without them being used for their original purpose. If you need more or other toiletries just ask our housekeeping. For more or bigger gym facilities we could recommend you the fitness centre “puls” right next to the hotel and with special conditions for our hotel guests; just ask our reception for further information. Kind regards and hoping to see you again, Hartmut Korthäuer, General Manager.

Very large hotel under construction in lobby. Sanitizer is plentiful. Masks were worn by most hotel staff and guest. Some guest relations personnel wore masks behind glass/plastic barrier while others did not. The person who checked us in, we feel, was very homophobic, and questioned us regarding 1 room with 1 king size bed, for two men. With construction in lobby, it was difficult to hear him and he made no effort to increase his volume from behind the glass/plastic window. We literally strained to hear anything he said. To reach our room, we took elevator down (with luggage), and walked quite a distance to the next elevator to get to our room. Taxis wait outside all the time and are readily available. Rooms are adequate but no a/c. Breakfast bar, can't say enough good things. Tables are promptly cleaned as guest leave, and food options will meet any diet needs (vegan as well). Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Dear guest, thank you very much again for your stay with us and also for your comment on tripadvisor. It is nice to see that you enjoyed your time here over all. It is right that our team is – legally – not obligated to wear a mask if they are separated from our guests by a glass wall. Of course every guest is welcome at our hotel and I’m quite sure that the receptionist is not homophobic. But as a business orientated hotel it is quite likely that two men checking in at the same room are just colleagues and won’t share a king size bed; so the colleague would just make sure that the king size bed would be right for you and your partner. I am sorry if this had a wrong impression on you. I am also sorry that it was a bit difficult to understand the colleague while the construction works for a small trade fair at the hotel. And yes, it is indeed a bit to walk to the rooms in the park wing but therefore the rooms there are even quieter as the rooms in the main building are already. The separation into two buildings is due to Stuttgart’s inner city construction code and the size of our hotel – with 555 rooms the biggest hotel in Baden-Württemberg. Thank you also for your compliments concerning our breakfast which I will of course forward to the colleagues. Dear guest, I apologize for any inconveniences and would appreciate to welcome you here soon again. Kind regards, Hartmut Korthäuer, General Manager.

This hotel is located in the center of the city, which is very good. However it’s a very old hotel, with old rooms, sometimes going through a long alley in the basement, that looks like a metro station, the breakfast looks like an old canteen, windows only on one side and thus dark. Verdict: Breakfast 4* level. Good. Rooms old 7/10 Concept 6/10 Location 9/10

Very good 4star hotel. The personnel was super friendly and helpful. Check in and out was smooth and efficient. The breakfast was also delicious. The meals were fresh and the variety was big. Superb location for a city trip. The room was big enough and clean. It wasn’t anything extraordinary but it certainly did the job. I recommend it for any kind of travel.

We went there for a business trip and it was a lovely hotel. Staff members were welcoming and the cleaners did a really good job. We had dinner at the bar and the food was lovely , though as common in Germany, not many GF options. The only downside of the hotel might be that the furniture/interior is a bit older, does not have that modern look. The pool is amazing and very clean too.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is big, in classic style. Rooms are pretty spacious, with fridge and kettle. Beds are very comfortable, even though it consisted of 2 matrasses joined together. The bathroom is also big enough with a bad. The shower system is controlled by touch panel, unusual but it works! Also, when you are taking a shower in a bath, the water does not end up on the floor, as it often does. Really enjoyed the TV in the room and that it has the mobile sharing option - so you can watch your videos on big screen. In many hotels they lock up this function. The biggest problem faces was slow unstable internet. We were in a business wing, so you expect stable fast connection, however it was very slow and was all the time disconnecting. Also, 17 eur for a breakfast p.p. per night is way too much. You can get an entire meal for under 15 eur even in the same restaurant, and 17 eur for breakfast. Luckily the location is good and there are some places around. 21 eur for parking also is a bit too much, however there was a parking garage with 12 eur per dat just on the opposite side of the street. Overall - a good comfortable and clean hotel, but with some overprices services.

Dear guest, thank you very much again for your stay with us and also for your comment on tripadvisor. It is nice to see that you enjoyed your time here. The bandwidth for the free WIFi is designed to write emails or visit normal websites. For more complex works you can use the hotspot of our partner Deutsche Telekom or – for streaming videos – the internet connection of the smart TV. IF there are any technical problems with connecting to the WiFi just contact our reception team for help; usually it is already sufficient to restart the router. The usual price for our extensive breakfast of 23 € is orientated at the quality and quantity of the used products and the professional and friendly service, which is at the same level as our Stuttgart’s competitors. As the buffet was a bit reduced we also reduced the price to 17 €. And yes, it is right that we have some dishes at the menu of our Café Espresso which are a bit cheaper as the rich breakfast buffet. The price for the parking is orientated at the parking garages at our surroundings and our Stuttgart’s inner city competitors. But yes, it is indeed right that one parking garage has a special offer for weekends when their normal “residents” from the surrounding office buildings are not working and therefore don’t need a parking. But of course you have also no direct connection from the parking to the hotel lobby. Kind regards and looking forward to your next stay, Alexander Buck, Regional Director.

I need a stay for 2 nights in Germany, one night in Munich and one night in Stuttgart. Both times I stayed on of Hotel Maritim chain. Both places was great. Big rooms, cozy beds, soft sheets, big bathroom and we all you can needing. Led tv and a very good wifi signal aply in all areas of the hotel. Very close to the city center, the one in Munich right on the Train Central Station. I will definitely recommend this hotels, very good rate between quality and price.

So, if you like being on a cruise ( which I do), then this is the perfect place for you. The hotel name is a perfect description for the decoration style. Loads of gold, marble, teak and chandeliers. We stayed in one of their suites which is spacious and nice. The living room has a sofa area and a dinning table - which is nice for room service - which is god. The bathroom is large with a shower and a tub ( yaaayyy). The bed is is a king size and the mattress firm and comfortable. The parking garage is large, and it is easy to navigate around it with a LARGE 4w. drive. Pool area is not the biggest, but functional and serves its purpose. Nice for the kids. Breakfast is very nice, and despite of the hotel being busy, the standard of the buffet maintained the same high quality and cleanness from start till end. Only thing missing, is hand sanitize at the entrance and round the buffet for a higher hygienically standard. The Bar made us 5 very nice non alcoholic cocktail. So overall I really enjoyed the stay.

Dear guest, thank you very much again for your stay with us and also for your comment on tripadvisor. I am very happy that you enjoyed your time here. And yes, you see indeed that you company was established with its first hotel at the German shores of the Baltic Sea. Hand sanitizer is usually not typical at Germany but in the meantime – with Corona – you will find dispensers at the reception, all public toilets and at the restaurant entrance. Kind regards and looking forward to your next stay, Alexander Buck, Regional Director.

Dear guest, thank you very much again for your stay with us and also for your comment on tripadvisor. It is nice to see that you enjoyed your time here and of course I will forward your compliments to my team. For the prices for food and beverage we have a calculation considering the price for the raw materials, storage, preparation, the amount of qualified colleagues at the kitchen and the service etc. The prices are also orientated at Stuttgart’s market environment. And yes, our rooms are indeed isolated very well and stay warm for quite a time. Please let us know for your next stay that you prefer a room facing our park so you can open the window. Kind regards and looking forward to your next stay, Alexander Buck, Regional Director.
