Positive: the room was big and the bathroom and very clean. Negative: the general condition of the hotel needs an improvement. It is very loud in the rooms, traffic on the street outside all night long, the floors very narrow and elevator old and tiny. Hotel bar is tiny, more an entrance of the hotel as a nice place to... It is a medium hotel, without luxury but clean. The best thing is that you are in the city center. Don't waste your money with breakfast, just in front of the hotel you have a couple of bakeries. And to have dinner and lunch (there is no restaurant in the hotel) you will find lots of options just in the... More

Stayed for one night on business. Located very close to the main train station, and one of the main roads so easy to find. Small reception and bar area, friendly welcome. Room was clean & basic, but had all the essentials needed for a one night stay (including free Wi-Fi). Little bags of haribo on the pillows as a welcome... More

The Central Hotel in Mannheim is exactly what the name implies, centrally located. Close to the Main Station and the nightlife and shopping centers of Mannheim you can reach almost everything on foot within 10 minutes. The hotel itself offers nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Some rooms are towards the front, which is also one of the main... More

The best thing is that its central! We first got a dirty room, then got down graded to a smaller room towards the street and its VERY noisy! The room was cold and not all that clean! Breakfast was poor as well not much variation. The wi-fi was very good!

This hotel is steps from the HBF and also the shopping district. I got a very good rate (weekend) and the room was average sized, clean and modern. My room faced the back so there was no street noise, but you could hear the maids banging up and down the halls in the morning. Pleasant breakfast.

I stayed here with three colleagues on business. My room was a small single room facing the rear of the hotel. With the windows open there was some "machinery" noise, but not too bad. My colleagues all had rooms towards the front of the hotel and were disturbed by the noise from the street (4-lane road), trams, etc.. The hotel... More

The hotel is located in a very central place, where you can easily walk into the city centre, or get on a tram that passes by just outside. The hotel is situated on a very noisy four-lane-road where trams and cars were really a noisy contribution to our stay. We had two double-rooms, and they were nicely furnished, and the... More
