Inhad the opportunity to stay in this hotel for 3 nights, and it was by far the best decision. The rooms are small i would say, you get only a one person bed, but it was clean and comfy. The location is good, you are close to the city center and to the tram station (for the moment they are... More

This is a great place to stay in a quiet area. The rooms are standard rooms but clean and big. The bathroom is nice and spacious. I must say that the best thing the hotel had is the buffet breakfast, it has all you need :) By the way, watch out for the busy elevators which take forever to catch.

Hotel Rio is amazingly quiet and hidden from the outside yet it has a warm heart inside. Coming from Africa I find a home from home, I am comfortable. The only snag is the small beds found in most rooms

A new hotel, well priced, comfortable and efficient. Stayed at the Hotel Rio on a Thursday evening. Easy check in with friendly staff. If you are staying on the first or second floor, the stairs are quicker than the lift!! The rooms are modest but have everything you may need. I stayed in a single bed room which was fine.... More

The personnel are very friendly. Beneath the hotel is a parking place. The rooms offer everything you need included safe, minibar and free Wi-Fi but are rather old. Breakfast is OK. The location is fine.

Good hotel with good localization and service. Room was clean, breakfast ok, however hotel itself is rather old and need some modernization. Additionally during the night it was loudly due to some turkish young people who plays close to the hotel

We stayed on Karlsruhe on a family visit, and chose the Hotel Rio for its in-town location. At least during the week, this is primarily a hotel for businessmen (and women). We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable, clean and quiet room. We had a double room on the back side of the hotel. Not much of a view, but... More

This hotel is comfy and cozy. The layout of the room was original and nice. It made the room feel more personal in a way. I had free wifi in the room . I got a welcome drink voucher upon arrival, and the staff were very attentive. They allowed me to have a late check-out and watched my luggage for... More
