Great stop-over for motorbike touring through Germany. We booked a garage for the bikes and the rooms were sizeable and very clean. An amazing breakfast was provided and staff were very helpful. There are trams outside the hotel into town for a great evening in the beautiful Old Town. Be aware that the street can be a little noisy with...

First impression wasn't great with the hotel located at a road junction on a major tram route. The welcome was first class and the room was well appointed and everything worked. The bathroom as quite small but compact and again, everything worked. The breakfast buffet was superb with everything you could possibly wish for in Germany. The hotel does have...

I lived on Glockenzehnten 4 blocks down the street from Hotel Rose for many years beginning in the mid-80s when I worked in Heidelberg. I would walk to Hotel Rose several times every month for dinner. It is a fantastic place for authentic German Gasthaus fare. If too many friends arrived in town at the same time, I would always...

Our trip was great. It was too short. I would have loved to stay longer and there is so much to do in Heidelberg. The Rose is the best place to stay. Great location, awesome staff, great food and excellent service.

the hotel is well located and with good access to the city center. As the hotel parking is paid, the possibility of parking nearby is a great advantage. The room is not carefully clean and the bathroom is small and impractical.

First impressions were not too good, as we arrived when reception was not manned, and the automatic key dispenser had my name on it as an exemplar! I know Heidelberg well, and I knew that a big advantage of this place was its proximity to Rohrbach Markt tram stop as well as a bus to the town centre. The room...

This is a nice place with a big disadvantage. It is located near tram station and you can hear the noise almost all along the night. Its rooms are tidy and comfortable though. Breakfast is not so much fancy, but it deserves to cost 9€.

Nice basic hotel on the outskirts of town ( actually in Rohrbach). The streetcar stops a half block from the hotel and will take you to the "old town" in about 15minutes. Hotel was very clean and well maintained however be warned that like most hotels in Germany there is no air conditioning which means you must leave the window...

I can only speak for me but after staying there for an extended stay, the Rose Hotel on Karsruher Strasse in Heidelberg could be the biggest rip-off in Heidelberg. Their microscopic rooms and overly high rates are the result of the family catering only the transient US military for the past 50 years while the US Army headquarters was in...

Location is off the beaten path, not walkable to the old town. The hotel is clean, but the decor is tired. On a busy street right beside busy tram line. Unfortunately the night we stayed there, roadwork was being done all night- very noisy, but room was so hot, had to sleep, with windows open! Minuscule bathroom, shower doors don't close...
