We stayed here for 3 nights in September whilst visiting this beautiful city for a conference. This is a guesthouse run by a charming and friendly family. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is situated on the North side of the river in a quiet residential area and the city centre and old city are... More

My wife and I stayed 16 days in Heidelberg in June/July 2016. We stayed 9 days in Apartment 3 and 7 days in Apartment 2. Both apartments were very cosy, clean and convenient. The apartments are located in a very quiet area of Heidelberg, close to the University Hospital, but still within walking distance to the city. The Berger family,... More

The hotel is quiet nice, is in a very nice neighborhood that allows you to go walking to very nice restaurants, and is very close to Bismarkplatz which a must do in the city. The owners are very nice and eager to help you in anything. The rooms are nice, they have options if you are traveling with kids. The... More

Please note-I did not stay at this place, so cannot comment on what it is like. However, I made some enquiries, about 3-4 days before my intended arrival in Heidelberg, about price and room availability. They wrote back and gave me the info I requested. I then responded and asked something else-how far they are from the train station I... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel for about week and then at their apartment for about 7 weeks. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Berger are just great human being and and caring. Their daughter Beate and her lovely husband Fawzi are so helpful and super caring and helpful. We were able to rent their bikes so we could... More

My wife and 3 children stayed at the Berger's 3 bedroom Apartment for 2 months. We had a very wonderful experience in our extended stay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable - and was more than enough living space for a family of 5 or 6. The location of the apartment is ideal, as you are staying in Heidelberg's... More

This is not really a hotel as it is a very quaint old house transformed to have several nice apartments. The place is clean and furnished with the minimum but in good taste. It will provide good sleeping quarters but not much else. As other have said, it is in a quiet area on the opposite bank of the Neckar... More

We stayed in the Berger's 3-bedroom apartment for 5 nights with our two children and could not have been more pleased. The apartment is very large and the bedrooms very comfortable. The bath is large with a tub and walk-in shower and the kitchen is fully appointed. There's even a balcony with table/chairs/umbrella. While we took taxis more than we... More

I had a lovely 10-days stay at this hotel-pension : very simple but well appointed and beautifully decorated, excellent shower / bathroom facilities, immaculately kept. Very peaceful on a quiet street in Neuenheim, with easy access to bus service not even five minutes away. Easy ( 15 minutes ) walking distance to the main square of Heidelberg. Very good breakfast,... More

After staying in the old part of Heidelberg for one noisy night, I fled to this small hotel in Neuenheim. Great location in a quiet residential neighborhood, close to the tram stop (2 minutes). The room was plain but very clean and had a great updated bathroom. Unfortunately, there was no telephone in the room and the lighting was not... More
