Location and quality of the room. We wanted to stay longer, the room felt like home and was so convenient to enjoying the town. The only thing to plan for is make sure they have room for. your car, small location with very limited parking. We can’t wait to stay again.
We loved everything about this Boutique Hotel - What an incredible experience. Having booked here on a recommendation we couldn't have been happier with our overall stay at Heidelberg Suites ! An incredible property awaits when you arrive and it only gets better from there. This Boutique Hotel has all the traits that you hope for - personalised service along with attentive and engaging staff, great recommendations and help throughout, excellent rooms, beautiful stlyling throughout the entire property and a very comfortable & quiet stay. The location of Heidelberg Suites allows for views ( If you have a room that overlooks ) of the Heidelberg old-town city skyline along with the backdrop of the hills which if the weather is nice, gives you uninterrupted views of Schloss Heidelberg and the Funicular that goes all the way to Konigstuhl. It's also an easy 5 minute walk across the bridge into the old-town which gives you plenty to see and do on your doorstep. The rooms are generous in size with breathaking views, well appointed and in mine it also had a small kitchenette and a dining table for four ( not sure if this is consistent throughout ). Similarly to the entire hotel though, it's perfectly styled and everything has its place. This is a real credit to the owner or owners of the Hotel. You could easily use Heidelberg Suites as the perfect place to base yourself to either wander the riverbank, stroll into the city or if you're driving - head out on day trips. …
Absolutely great! Top notch service and 5-star accommodations! Highly recommend .. we will be returning for sure!.......................................................................................
No complaints whatsoever! The staff was accommodating, the breakfast was spectacular, the room was comfortable, and the view of the castle was picturesque. The hotel helped us call a cab to a restaurant one night, and they let us check in early as well!
We are 2 adults and a 13 year old who stayed in the Balcony Suite. My son slept on the sofa bed while we were in the bedroom. The AC is primarily in the bedroom but still impacts the rest of the suite. This is a boutique hotel and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Parking is limited so this should be planned with the hotel in advance. The location is superb! A short walk takes you to the bridge for easy access to restaurants and many attractions. The view cannot be beat: the castle, the church steeples, the bridge, the Necker River - all of it directly from the balcony.
the room was riddled with spider web, spiders, insects. i ask for the room to be recleaned but again it was not done. the closet door was broken, bathroom door did not lock, safe was not working, bath tub had holes in it. overall the room and hotel was misrepresented on the website. The only saving grace was the lovely manager who listened to us and absorbed our frustration. for the price we paid, the value is very low.
Boutique hotel. Very cosy. Impeccably clean. Ideally situated walking distance from down town - road noise unavoidable. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Unmanned from late afternoon till morning.
We stayed 3 nights at Heidelberg hotel suite and had an amazing stay. We had a prestige room which was perfect and very spacious. Separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom area makes the apartment/room feel large. Great balcony and amazing views of the old town. Very quick and easy walk to shopping, restaurants, and anything you need. Breakfast was included and was very good! Staff is excellent and helped arrange a taxi back to the train station. Clémence at reception was so kind and very helpful the entire stay. Nothing but great things to say about our stay!!
Very stylish place , friendly staff & great location. The suite was beautiful but a bit cramped, no place to open the suitcase, for example. Location unmatched, make sure to get a room with a view of the castle ! Wifi needs an upgrade !!
Just got back from an amazing stay with a group of friends at this little gem on the Neckar. This little hotel poised on the banks of the Neckar offers an unparalleled view of the city of Heidelberg and the castle in the hills. The rooms are very well planned with a distinct kitchenette, a living area and bedroom and I already miss standing in the french balcony sipping my espresso and looking at the postcard perfect scenery. The breakfast was also amazing with fresh croissants, and a generous assortment of cheeses and cold-cuts. But what was perhaps the best part of the hotel was the staff ... always smiling and always helpful. On the last day we had a snafu with our driver who never showed and the highly efficient Elena Kadilas at the front desk not only immediately arranged for a replacement but even physically helped load all the bags in the rain . many many thanks Elena, you are amazing. Finally, a big thank you to the best travel concierge I have every found who unfailingly manages to find these hidden gems The Curateur (instagram @thecurateur_followmyfootsteps)!…
