Difficult to get there, but very beautiful surrounds. The room fine. Breakfast so so. The last day we went to have breakfast at 9,13 a.m and the man was taking out all the meal.. and it suposse you can eat until 9,30 a.m They have a pound more than a pool. Its better to go to the swimming pool of... More

The B&B was 10km from Triberg up a narrow road and away from everything which was very nice, peaceful and fantastic views. The food was excellent, we had an evening meal which was very good, and the breakfast was also very good, great choice. The staff very friendly and very helpful, they looked after our bags after we had checked... More

Stayed for a long weekend in this lovely family run inn. The hostess is so friendly and paid special attention to our 5y.o. The rooms are large and clean with excellent WiFi, especially in a remote European location. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices for everyone. Enjoyed an evening on the patio as well - perfect for board games... More

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Just don't expect anything fancy in Berghof. The room was basic but very clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice and if you decide to stay for dinner you'll get honest, traditional 'Schwarzwalder' food that's prepared with care and without pretention. We were surprised to see the place was run almost entirely by a... More

This hotel is located in the hills around Triberg. The owner is a very lovely woman (doesn't speak English, so a bit basic knowledge of German can help :)). The Breakfast was very tasty! The rooms are clean & spacious, but the bathroom is rather small. The Wifi works very good in all places (rooms & the restaurant) The insulation... More

The hotel is located in a very nice place, with a great view . The road to the hotel is extremely narrow, wide enough for only 1 car, so complex maneuvers are required if another car comes from the opposite direction. Our room was large enough, but it was very basic. Bathroom and toilet are very small. The hotel owner... More

Authentically German (no English spoken - just one roughly translated menu) Gasthof with excellent, authentic, local food. They were happy to do pizza and/or chips for kids. They very helpfully found us family rooms to suit us, making this exceptional value for money. There's plenty to do - nearby Triburg has beautiful waterfall trails where you can feed squirrels and... After a full day at the Legoland in Gunzburg we drove more than 200 km to reach this gem. Although we were late, the legendary 'Old Lady' was there for us. She was very very helpful and welcoming. Our room was simple but in old German style. Cleanliness was better than we expected, and the beds were comfy enough for... More

This traditional-style hotel is located at a secluded location, in a rural area about 10 minutes by car from Triberg. The room itself was pretty basic (I would have expected more amenities, such as tea kettle and a minibar for that price), but had a large balcony from which you can see the surroundings, which includes green mountains and forests... Fantastic warm welcome from the proprietors. We were met with a very warm welcome, with drinks and Christmas biscuits on the house. The food was out of this world! Honest, hearty, home cooked traditional food. You will find things like deer, lamb and cow's tongue on the menu as well as the normal stuff. The chef is extremely accommodating. We... More
