nice sized rooms, WiFi only works in the lobby or Cafe downstairs. The breakfast is good and standard European fare. The bar and restaurant across the road are very good and with traditional german food.

We did not stay at the hotel but stopped in the Cafe Adler for a silce of their delicious Blak Forest cake and a coffee. The cake was delicious, light, and not too sweet. The process here is a little different when ordering. You order at the counter and then go to your table. They will then serve you and...

The Adler is the best value in town. I booked a single room and got a suite, view to the main street and a clean and functional bathroom. Plus the breakfast is nice enough... The minus - wifi only at the lobby or the coffee shop and check-in hours - don't bother much if you know them in advance. My...

This hotel also sells amazing locally made confectionery which should be tested. The staff where very friendly and helpful . The location is very central with a 5 minute walk up the hill to see the waterfall and the cuckoo clock shops. Breakfast was typically German with beautiful brochen and cooked meats. The room was huge and exactly as in...

Online information states English is spoken at the Hotel. German is the only language spoken here. The very few words of English spoken by the two women working here will not get you a glass of water.

We definitely ordered one of the well-known German Black Forest cakes with cherries. It tasted so different from what we've tried before at home. Just so original! Also, there was a wide selection of other regional desserts you may want to try in Triberg!

We found the hotel but not the parking , so went to check in and find out where the parking was. The hotel has a separate entrance from the cafe but the desk is not manned , has no bell and no notices advising how to check in. Looked through to the cafe several times and though staff saw me...

The all of triberg is on a hill, and this hotel is situated right in the middle. Rooms were spacious and very clean. And breakfast was delicious!! The road noise from Main Street can be quite loud, so be aware if you have a front room. Staff was sweet and very helpful. Free entry to the falls if you stay...

This is a hidden gem to get the best cakes in our 2 week trip in Germany. The service is very friendly, there is great variety of cakes and the cakes are perfectly baked. They have quiet patio out in the back to get the best experience away from the main street.

We didn't stay here. We asked a friend in town where the best place to get Schwarzwäler Kirschtorte (Black Forest Cherry Cake) was, and he sent us here. We've tried it before several times in the Black Forest region: sometimes we've liked it and sometimes not. The key for us is whether the bakers put just enough or too much...
