We wanted to stay just for one night in a hotel nearby Europa Park, and we decided to get this one, as it is close to the railway station, old town, shops, restaurants and a big cinema complex - and at the same time it is in a very quit, small street. Our room was a family room for 3...

A lovely Hotel just a few blocks from the Train Station... plus close to shops and restaurants. A delightful small hotel in traditional style and on a nice quiet road. It has a ‘family run’ atmosphere. It is very close to both the station and old town. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent. Get as large a room as you want to afford if you are staying longer than a few days. Also, as there is...

The rooms are small and have no character hence overpriced. I was quite disappointed by the reception as well. In general too expensive for what it is. Positive points: good breakfast, relatively good location.

Beautiful old hotel a convenient stroll from the altstadt and also close to the Hauptbahnhoff. We had a big room that was not too hot even though it had been hot for a number of days in this part of Germany. They did supply a pedestal fan. The bed was comfortable. The only down side was that the free wi...

It is a nice and clean family hotel. Not very luxurieus but with a plesant little garden and a good breakfast. It is near to the trainstation and the city centre. The personal is friendly. It is quiet.

Very attractive and clean hotel with a traditional feel. Great location being a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof and the centre of Freiburg. Breakfast had a good choice with plenty of cold meats and was in a nice room. Staff were friendly. A great choice and would stay here again.

Easy to find, approx 3 minutes walk from the train station. Visually, very attractive on the outside & very old style on the inside, almost a throw back to hotels of years gone by. A very, very friendly & informative check in (I was not asked to pre authorise my credit card or pay immediately) & with no lift, it...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It's a perfectly located, cozy, hotel (a little bit old fashioned, we loved it), small rooms, but an excellent bed, a perfect shower in the bathroom, ..... The owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is OK.... Maybe one negative point: there's no airco, and with 34 degrees...

Traditional German, family owned hotel. There is no lift and our room was on the top floor (63 steps up) but there were photos, paintings, old cupboards, etc. on the landings to stop and look at while catching our breath. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English and were very...
