Super super nice hotel, beautiful boutique hotel, nice antique deco with modern facilities, love the breakfast room and afternoon tea room, very quiet and beautiful backyard garden. Great location close to every attraction. Most importantly, all staffs are super nice and helpful. It is a MUST STAY hotel if you visit Baden Baden, you will absolutely love it as I do!

What a wonderful hotel! My husband and I travel all over the world and this will now rank as a favorite. We loved our room (Marie Antoinette). It’s beautifully appointed in every way- we loved the tub! Breakfast was very nice; we ate out on the back terrace looking at the lovely garden. I never wanted to leave the garden. The beautiful town of Baden Baden is just a few minutes walk from the hotel, but the hotel feels like a country estate. Perfect combination! The staff members were all helpful and eager to please. Special thank you to Mike, who each day cheerfully answered our endless questions about hiking in the area. His advice greatly enhanced our stay.

My best friend and I stayed here for a three night girlfriend vacation. The location was perfectly central to walk everywhere. The ambiance of this gorgeous hotel and the amazingly friendly staff gave us a beautiful memory for a lifetime. It’s family owned and you can feel the warmth and congeniality here. We were given a tour of three different rooms to choose. The room we stayed in, Louis Phillip, was very elegant and we felt so pampered with all the care that went into every detail. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious , with attentive coffee service. We were transported to another world. I joined another friend who booked a five star hotel the Maison Messmer, but the corporate hotel atmosphere was nothing compared with what I left behind at the Belle Epoque. I missed it and the staff I got to interact and connect with: Mike, Sandra and Dennis from Ukrane, Ivan from Croatia … I am grateful that all of them made our stay in Baden Baden a most enjoyable experience. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I was given a room on the ground floor with spa bath, bed comfortable spa great. Breakfast was included which was nice & enough. I took the half board option, dinner was held in their sister hotel 5 minutes walk away & the food was amazing. What made this experience so nice was the staff both at Belle Epoque & Die Klein Prince at dinner, they made me feel like a very special guest, they were amazing.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Arrived at 8pm on the first night having driven for 10 hours solidly from Nice. I unloaded while my wife got checked in and she came back not overly impressed by the cold welcome she'd received but as long as the room was OK, I was OK (call me selfish..) We'd been given a room in a separate building which I'd read was possible in reviews but actually the room was OK. It had good a/c (required as 25-35 degrees) and shutters on the windows which was a nice touch during the long days and bright mornings of high summer. It was a twin room and we basically had a small double bed each, something I could get used to. We'd had to park quite a long way from the room but outside our building under was a good covered parking space that was not in use. I asked if I could park there and was told it was for private use and a hotel minibus was quickly parked there to block it off. Later that day a German registered Ferrari was parked there which seemed to contradict what they had said but hey ho no big deal, maybe it was the hotel owner. Unfortunately when it fired up at approx 6am and woke everyone up it was a big deal - The advertised "oasis of peace and tranquility" was no more. Breakfast was OK, it was supposedly an American buffet but there wasn't much choice of hot meats though the scrambled egg was good. We sat on the terrace which was lovely (even with the wasps) and the breakfast staff were very attentive. The coffee was as it should be in a European hotel, served in your own personal pot, strong enough and hot enough, self service coffee machines at breakfast should be banned. If you wanted a fancier coffee you just had to ask. The main sights of Baden Baden are an easy walk away and it's easy to drive in and out if you want to go further afield (though I never worked out how to avoid the chuffing tunnel which keeps the town centre quiet (Ferrari exhausts not withstanding) but is no fun in a convertible car on a nice evening). So not a bad experience, just wish the staff were less officious, something which continued even after we had left; A word of warning - if the staff ask for your car key, make sure you get it back at checkout, we gave them our spare so didn't miss it until hours after leaving. The hotel wanted to charge us to ship it to UK which would be fine if it was an item we'd left in error, not something we'd had taken from us. In the end (after a staff meeting!) they agreed to ship it at their cost but they must have used the slowest, cheapest method possible (Hermes..) as it took 20 days to arrive. Really surprised at this level of penny pinching from a not inexpensive hotel, especially when they'd had 2 nights and 530 Euros out of us and we didn't partake in the high tea which was included in the room cost (along with breakfast) Would we come back, probably not. A shame as it wasn't a bad hotel but nearly every interaction with the staff was a negative one and the excellent Belgian hotel we stayed in on the next night put this all into perspective.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We always try to offer quality and service on a high level. I am very sorry to hear that your stay at hotel Belle Epoque was not up to par. We apologize for the inconveniences. Considering parking, all parking spots are max. 40 meters located from the rooms. The information regarding the "private" parking you received was wrong in this case. A guest reserved this spot for his Ferrari car during his stay. Sincerely, Monja Rademacher

The core of this hotel is an 1870s villa which retains its essentially original charms inside and out, including a pretty garden. Its dining areas, used for the excellent breakfast included in the room price, are very attractive, including for the antique furniture. The hotel also throws in complimentary afternoon tea in front of the very convincing fake open fire. The pick of the rooms are the quiet ones facing the garden on the first floor in the main building. But the hotel also has rooms in surrounding buildings. We had one in a converted second floor attic of a neighbouring building which faced a couple of nearby roads. There was some traffic noise but by the time we realised this we didn’t have the energy to figure out the air conditioning. So choose rooms carefully. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk to central Baden-Baden and its attractions. It also has parking (€20 or so a night). Friendly suggestion to the staff: drop the face masks. But overall recommended and reasonably priced by the standards of Baden-Baden’s other historic hotels.

We travelled in July 2021 (sorry for late review!), as a 3 night getaway for my wife and I. This hotel makes you feel like you're stepping into the past (as a wealthy traveller!) from the moment you turn up, it is absolutely beautiful with ornate, period decor, outstanding old fashioned service (both very friendly and helpful, and extremely smart team). It's an oasis within the city, with beautiful gardens, terrace and sitting rooms where you can have tea/coffee and cake in front of a roaring log fire or at a shady table in the garden. Very tranquil and a real treat. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite (think it was Brahms?), with a jacuzzi...oh my god! Room was large, ornate and very clean, we loved it. Good breakfast too, and car parking is easy. The location is just right for walking into town or through the river valley/park. Thanks to all the staff, we loved it,

We stayed for two nights at the Belle Epoque Hotel and completely enjoy the experience.. The hotel is decorated in Fin de Siecle French style. Each room has a name as well as a number. We got the Marie Antoinette room. The room was beautifully decorated in blue, with colorful kitchy paintings. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi bathtub and was wonderfully convenient. A special thing about this hotel are the lovely Hotel gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to lie about on the lounges at the garden, listen to the birds and do nothing. The location of the hotel is perfect. All the attractions of bad and Baden now within a short walking distance. The rich buffet breakfast with a large choice of bread, fruit, eggs, dairy products and cured meats is included in the price of the stay. Since we stayed in the Mary Antoinette room we expected to eat cakes instead of bread, but fortunately that did not happen. On the second night we had to leave the hotel at 3:00 in the morning in order to get to the airport. The hotel stuff was kind enough to prepare for us coffee and some bread butter and jam as a very early breakfast in the middle of the night.. One drawback is the lack of an elevator. Our friend had to carry her bags two flights up in steep stairs. The stuff was extremely helpful during our stay. They helped us print all the Corona related documentation which we had to present at the airport Overall, we highly recommend this hotel
