Stayed for 5 nights on a ski trip with friends. Hotel is superbly located in the very centre of town with the Solaise and Olympique lifts being a five minute walk away. Hotel itself is simple and small but it is clean, well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful, not in the syrupy false manner you get with big hotels but with a geniality that is very welcoming. Our room was plenty big enough, warm and with a simple but clean bathroom area, the shower was powerful and there was always tonnes of hot water available, a huge plus on a February ski trip! Breakfast was a simple but ample selection of cereals, fruit, pastries, bread, jams etc. The dining area is a little small but there was never an issue or a shortage of anything. There is a ski room but it is down some stairs so just be aware of negotiating with ski boots on. The greatest asset of this hotel are the staff, they are genuine, warm and friendly and always welcoming. Only negative is that the place is perhaps a little dated with no facilities such as a bar or restaurant but there is so much in Val D’Isere that it was never an issue, the location more than makes up for it. In all, it’s a simple, friendly and well run hotel in a superb location and represents excellent value in an otherwise expensive resort.

Stayed here for a week with a friend, so we had a very nice 2 single bed bedroom with a (I must say) very small bathroom. There was room for everything, but in regards to the bathroom, probably good that we weren’t to big in size The personal are very sweet and understanding, and helpful if one has questions - English is not their first language but they understand it well The whole atmosphere is very cozy and has a BnB theme with the included breakfast - some for every taste The lounge (as you can see on the pictures) is nice, there is different books and games to pick from, however the internet in that area is not the best - it works fine in ones room While we where there the owner (i think) had a dog, very cute and lovable - just good to know if ever one has allergies 🐶 One must not smoke indoors, and there is a room where one can keep ones skis 🎿 I would definitely recommend this place, and would choose it again if i went to Val D’Isère again 😊

Loved our stay here. My son and I took a bijoux room for 3 nights for a ski break. V comfy beds. Slept quite well. Good shower. Breakfast was great - good choice and plenty of it. Brother also stayed over with his girls for a night. They loved it too. One receptionist was a bit fierce. The one we dealt with mostly was lovely though. Really friendly. We were able to use a spare shower at 330 on final day so could wash before drive to airport. Made the journey much more comfy.

Still as good as when I first visited in 2015. It's a wonderful hotel with loads of character. Don't expect 'large' but the rooms are adequate and the hotel is in a great location for everything that Val has to offer. The thing that sets this place apart from others is the fantastic hospitality provided by the owners. It's a family-run hotel and the family does everything. This is really noticeable from the second you walk through the door. It's spotlessly clean throughout. There's plenty to fill up with at breakfast time. The beds are very comfortable. This is now firmly top of our list for future visits to Val but beware - it fills up quickly. As someone else has commented, you will get some noise from late night revellers heading home and from deliveries being made nearby in the early morning. This is true of any hotel that's so close to the heart of town and was not a problem for us. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.
