We booked this holiday with Alpine Elements as a last minute Black Friday deal We still paid a reasonable amount of money and we expected a reasonable holiday. The staff I must say are fantastic everyone employed there works extremely hard and the Manager Mark we could not fault. The view was very nice to wake up to. It seems...

Our group of 14 has just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay at La Gelinotte. There have been some significant improvements since our visit 4 years ago with the lift, boot room, pool and sauna a wonderful addition. Food was tasty with plenty of choice for everyone. Rooms are traditional chalet style, well appointed with plenty of hot water!...

The staff were a great team much like a welcoming family from the off with Mark and Amy doing a great job. Taking care off us all from our arrival by taking a bags to our rooms and welcoming us with much needed coffee and biscuits. Our waiter Jenner had great humor and cared for our table through the week...

Bedrooms are basic, but all you need for a skiing trip: loads of hot water, comfy beds and fluffy robes. Good boot room with boot warmers. Bar and lounge area very cosy, with lots of separate spaces to make your own. Nice pool area. Good choice of food, mostly very good, excellent desserts. But what made our stay so special...

With a large group of 9 we were well looked after by all members of staff throughout our Christmas break. Our waiter, Jenner, was particularly caring, funny and attentive. We can't thank him enough for making our holiday fab. The hotel also offered a minibus shuttle to and back from the slope even on Christmas day. Particular thanks to Jack...

We had a wonderful week at Hotel Gelinotte, the Alpine Elements staff could not have made us feel more welcome. The hotel is clean and comfortable, it's not over luxurious but has everything you need for a good value ski break. The hotel and restaurant staff, Mark the hotel manager and Rachel in the restaurant, in particular really made our...

The lodge was basic but that is what you expect on these types of trips. The room was clean apart from a big sticky liquid patch we found throughout one of the drawers so did not use it. The shower was really good. In terms of general cleanliness the lodge was ok but I did find the cups by the...

Dear WorldTraveller84, Thank you for your review. We were pleased to hear that you found the staff really friendly and helpful during your stay with us at the Hotel Gelinotte last August. We were however very sorry to read that, whilst you felt that the breakfast and tea time were fine, you were disappointed with the standard of the catering...

My partner and I stayed at the Gellinotte this summer along with our children. We had an amazing time doing all the activities as recommended by our ultra helpful rep. The front of house staff were a delight and they made us feel as if nothing was too much trouble. The food was hearty and plentiful, a special thank you...
