This must be excellent for a ski trip. Very close to the lifts and town. Cute old hotel that has been kept very well and is modern enough. Adequate continental breakfast. Great views. Free parking. Downside is no elevator.

A delightful family-run and owned hotel in the heart of Val d'Isere with an excellent chef. Madame Le Privey Bellier is a quiet and effective host supported by charming staff. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped, there is a new sauna and exercise room and the views are good from many sides of the hotel.

We spent the week end with another couple at Hotel Bellier. It is well located less than 100 meters from the lifts, and in the city center on a side street. The hotel is cozy and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was large with a balcony with a beautiful view. The beds are comfy and the decoraration is... More

My son (12 years old) and I stayed in a twin room with bath. It was a very good size with reasonable views towards Solaise and over the town. Occasionally there was a slight disturbance from late night revellers but nothing too worrying. Pleny of wardrobe and hanging space, and a table and two chairs which were useful for catching... We arrived the day after Christmas and were initially unsure about our choice. The hotel was rough round the edges, and could do with some refurbishments. After a couple of days we started to really enjoy the hotel, which is very french in style and run by a local family. The breakfast buffet selection was limited but all that we... More

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. There are several things that work in its favour: - The superior rooms are quite nice and large, with a very pleasant outlook to the slopes - The dinner most nights is adequate to good, with a decent wine list at reasonable prices - The owner and staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly... After researching the internet for quite some time in order to find lodging in Val d'Isere, we decided to give this property a chance, because whilst we would have liked a 4 star hotel, we were not prepared to pay 6000€/week. We are very happy with our choice and will definitely return if opportunity arrises. Pros: 1. Bellier is just... More

On several previous occasions we've enjoyed the comfort and convenience of this charming family-run hotel. This year the five-course dinners have been exceptional, thanks to the new chef's imagination and skills. Great value, fantastic quality, and welcoming and friendly staff.

I and two teenage children had a great 5 night stay in this friendly family-run hotel. Don't go if you require five star luxury and 24/7 room service, but if you want a central - but nonetheless quiet - location with decent grub, comfortable beds and the feel of a proper small French hotel, this may be for you.
