Very comfortable hotel - friendly and welcoming staff; good breakfast. What I would describe as a traditional alpine hotel. Convenient to the Olympique and Solaises gondolas as well as the bars and restaurants and local Bus stop if needed
Cosy, quiet hotel, mere minutes from the slopes (in one direction) and the centre of town (in the other). The breakfast spread makes for a hearty start to the day. Rooms with balconies are more spacious. Lovely little sauna too.
5 family members on a skiing holiday had a super time THE PHOTOS DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE! Before we went we had concerns about some previous reviews but found them exaggerated. This hotel was traditional in the Best sense and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was good, with selections of lovely pastry’s, eggs, fruit, cheese and cold meats. The bathrooms were spacious with an excellent powerful shower. Location couldn’t be better, just off the center of shops and restaurants and less than a 5 minute walk to the slopes. Full bar facility in a peaceful atmosphere. If we go back to Val d’Isère we know where we will be staying
We stayed at the Hotel Bellier in December 2017 and we were extremely impressed. Before we even got to the hotel we were emailed about a lift pass offer and the hotel organised 241 lift passes which was great, and they were ready for us when we arrived. We drove to the hotel from Geneva and there was a car park just opposite the hotel for us to park in so not far to walk with the cases. On check in the lady we spoke to was so friendly and helpful, and the interior was beautifully decorated and was very clean. Our room was gorgeous and had a lovely view over the La face ski run. Breakfast was delicious and again service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is fantastic value for money and is in a perfect location. Amazing stay.
Hotel Bellier is in a wonderful spot; fabulous scenery and very close (c. 200m) to l’olympique and Solaise ski lifts. Everyone who works at the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. Food is delicious. My booking didn’t mention I was vegetarian and the chef managed to prepare something for me at very late notice. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
Fill your boots at breakfast with cereals, eggs, pastries and homemade jams. Stroll down to the locker room to put on your newly warmed ski-boots and grab your skis for the five-minute stroll to the Solaise and Bellevarde uplifts. After a day of superb ski-ing on extensive pistes, enjoy a wallow in a hot bath, followed by an aperitif beside the fire in a lounge adorned with fascinating Savoieard photos and artefacts. A splendid five-course dinner comes next, featuring local ingredients, fresh vegetables, charming and attentive service. Tumble into a comfortable cosy bed for a great night’s sleep. Wake up to mountain views and another idyllic day of skiing.... Hotel Bellier offers all of this, and more.
Having stayed at this hotel many times now we are possibly biased but if you want a well located, family run hotel, close to the slopes and with really good food then this is the one. Well equipped and clean rooms, plenty of hot water, good value and friendly attentive staff. Couldn’t ask for anything more. See you next year.
I rarely post but loved this hotel. The food in particular was innovative and tasty. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. A short walk from the piste and good value. Hope to return in the near future.
