We stayed with 5 friends for a mountain bike vacation. Good breakfast, friendly staff, garage available to store bikes and possibility to clean the bikes. On the day of the MB Race they served breakfast especially for us at 5:00 am ! Location is also very good, on walking distance from the very nice centre of Megeve

Well situated between the town and Rochebruhne ski lifts - public ski transport in short walking distance. Croissants were lovely in the mornings, but no hot breakfasts were available. Coffee after dinner would have been lovely. Limited English, but just enough to get by and understand. Lounge area not serviced for apre-ski. Friendly owner / management.

I have visited this hotel twice. It offers good value for money. You have to bare in mind that the hotel is 2 star so accommodation is basic and a little tired but the owners are marvellous, welcoming and caring. The rooms are clean, very warm and functional. Baths, no shower in the 2 rooms I have used. The breakfast... More

Room was clean. Location excellent. Breakfast good. Rooms a bit noisy and a little small. No drying area. No cosy sitting room with fire or a hot tub. Otherwise nice and comfortable and cheaper than alternatives. I didn't try the dinner but it looked OK.

Our request for an early,(6:30am),breakfast was met with a firm no. On enquiring politely of the owner why they were unable to open the breakfast room early for our ski racing kids, I encountered a torrent of abuse - I was called an imbecile on 3 occasions and told impolitely to take my business elsewhere- a problem as we had... This is a 2 star hotel which in my opinion exceeds its rating. Rooms are simple but clean and offer ample space. Would have preferred a shower to a bath. We went half board. It is a set 4 course menu each evening. The food is wholesome, just what you need when skiing. Lovely soups. The owners are lovely, not... More

Megeve can be fairly expensive. We needed a jumping off point for a hiking trip in the Alps. The rooms we had were split between bunks and pairs of double beds. It was quite comfortable and a decent value for Megeve. Most of our time was devoted to being outside, so it was a comfortable place to settle for the... More

A group of nine of us booked two separate rooms here. One was the 'suite' and the other was an open planned two bedroom room. Both were more like youth hostel styled rooms. The bunk beds in the suite were only suitable for small adults or children, in the other the bunk beds were basic but adequate. The owners were... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel after looking at the information provided but the information written has nothing to do with what we experienced. First of all the hotel does not have spacious rooms as stated. One of the two rooms we booked was different from the other and was as spacious as a coffin. Secondly the rooms... More

Warm, cosy, helpful, fully met my expectations. I stayed for four days/three nights skiing break with my 14 year old son and the hotel was ideal - nothing grand but a simple and charming alpine hotel. I was almost put off from booking by some of the other reviews, but I needed to be near the centre of Megeve and... More
