Smelly room, dirty sheets and unfriendly staff. Room was super small. I would not recommend to come to this hotel unless you have really really small budget... internet was not working well.. Only thing is that it is in the city center

The hotel staff were helpful, neither friendly nor rude. The room was always clean. Sadly the soundproofing is non-existant, I could hear every word of the next room's conversation or TV show. This combined with a neighbour who appeared not to sleep all night led to a week lacking much sleep at all. Breakfast was very basic, a few croissants...

A simple but clean and comfortable hotel excellently located in the center of the Peninsula, convenient for just about everything. Room was nice, renovated since last visit with adequate if cramped bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff, good value.

Don't be fooled by the name, this is a hotel in the old town. Some parts have real character but others are just dated. The rooms were recently renovated and are extremely spacious. Due to the narrow street it is quite dark inside. New window help keep the noise out.

Hotel is centrally located. Basic amenitioes but room was actually bigger than expected. Front desk staff do not speak much English but they try, nothing google translator cannot help with! Building opposite the hotel.across.the street is under renovation so.it was a little noisy. Lift was small and kinda scary to take haha but it beats walking up the stairs with...

We stayed here for 7 days and got a room with our own ensuite. The room had so much character we absolutely loved it. The location is 10/10 I don't think you could be in a better spot as you have everything with in a 5min walk and old town is only across the bridge, the main mall starts 100m...

I stayed on night and loved the city. The hotel great location. The room I was in was big but very tired. It had a shabby feel to it. The only thing I can not forgive was the shower which had cracked tiles and dirty grouting. The walls of the shower were dirty. Staff were helpful. An overhaul would transform...

This hotel was modern many decades ago, so if you want a hotel with modern, standard rooms, then this is not the place for you. Each room is furnished with old-fashioned furniture which gives the rooms their individual and special character. Ours fourth floor room was spacious and had a fireplace and large furniture above the mantelpiece. The lift is...

I'll have to agree with what others are saying about the lift, almost an adventure in itself. If you're not fond of them take the stairs! But i don't doubt its integrity (well that much anyway). Arrived without a reservation and unfotunately the guy behind reception did not speak english. Through my broken french we managed to book a twin...

Lyon is a city that seems to have it all. Busy river, castle on the hill, wide pedestrian plazas and little winding cobblestoned alleyways, packed with surprises. What a pity, then, that this hotel was a disappointment. There was a hole in the wall, a sloping floor, curtains that wouldn't close properly and a tiny lift that delivered a precarious...
