The room was small but nice, the bathroom was small too but it was new and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great deal for 2 stars hotel. Totally recomend it, the location was amazing and the overall experience was great. The only problem was with the wifi that didnt work in my laptop. (It did work on the... More

This hotel was great in many aspects: 1. The staff could easily talk in English and they also helped us out with directions / taking care of our luggage at the next morning. 2. The room was big, nice and warm. There was a tv and a mirror. The bed and the floor was super clean. 3. The shower was... More

Because we we're overbooked in another hotel in Lyon we ended in Hotel d'Azur. We payed the money we agreed for the first hotel. The welcome here was good, they speak very good English. There we're some small issues with the WiFi but the manager put a lot of effort in solving this and even offered us a free breakfast... More

Being in the middle of Lyon, the bedroom was a little smaller than we're used to but you need to acknowledge that the hotel is in a very old building. An elevator has been added next to the stairway, but don't expect to get two people with suitcases into it. It's a two trip job. The staff were helpful and... More

Useful hotel right near Perrache Station and right near restaurants, bars, river etc - beautiful part of the City. Clean and tidy, small but well maintained room on 3rd floor. Warm without being too hot - just right! Comfy bed. Two nights (Thursday and Friday) of good sleep and refreshed for exploring. Our last night (Saturday) began OK arriving back... More

As an older hotel, rooms were more spacious than newer hotels. We appreciated the location relative to train station and Metro. Descriptions should make clear it is on a pedestrian street as we drove around awhile til we could park and unload before returning rental car at Perrache. Some desk attendants had better English than others, but all were pleasant. Didn't... More

Stayed here to break up drive from Monaco to Paris. The hotel overall was ok but I would not want to spend more than a night. Previous reviews have commented on lack of parking so we sorted it out at check in. €13 for 24hrs in a local car park (10 min walk) was very good value. We were given... More

For a one night stop over you cant beat this hotel for the location. As a solo travel the room was clean, large enough and the bathroom was a good size. This hotel is dated (or the room I was in certainly was still in the 80's style) No air-conditioning which required the windows to be opened and overlooking the... More

The hotel Azur was our overnight stop en route to Southern France. We enjoyed it's central location when going out for dinner in the evening. The room we were in was simple as may be expected from a two star hotel, but the bathroom was worse: a shower in a 'cupboard' separate from the sink/toilet, without a fitting to put... More
