I stayed with my family, it was nice as we got communicating rooms. The hotel was quiet and clean, it has a simple style, a bit dark for me but not bad. Nothing bad to say about the rooms and service. It is nicely located, not far from the main attractions and has a private parking (must reserve in advance)...

It's always a pleasure to read our clients' satisfaction with our location near the main attractions like the Halles Paul Bocuse and the Tête d'Or park and its zoological garden, at 10 mn. Charming small hotel in back streets but 5-10 minutes walk to river and some central shopping streets. Efficient staff, accommodating at the bar quite late. Breakfast a limited affair but nice enough. Thoughtful little gifts in room for the tournament. Very helpful English-speakers at reception who helped us with a few tasks. Comfortable, basic rooms with all you needed.

We booked 2 rooms of the same standard. One had equipment that the other didn't. When queried, the response was that some rooms have them and some don't ?????? We had problems with the lighting, the wi-if, the air conditioning and the bathroom. Some items were fixed , some weren't. 'Hotels sometimes get these problems - we can't help it...

Le Roosevelt is centrally located, close to the Rhone river and Vieux Lyon. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. The barge brasseries on the Rhone river were a favorite with us, and we could also walk to the Fine Arts Museum, the Roman ruins, and the streets and restaurants of Vieux Lyon. The hotel itself, however, we found...

Perfectly adequate, located not too far from the historic centre of the city. The room was clean and quite comfortable, as was the bathroom. The dark curtains and furnishings were a bit heavy and had an old-fashioned air about them. Breakfast was quite expensive, so we opted for one of the cafés in the vicinity. The staff, however, are extremely...

It is the perfect 'small' pension for the 'local' experience. It is very comfortable and relaxing after a long day of work and touring. While not being in the heart of the tourist areas. Getting to them is fast and convenient. The staff is attentive and caring.

We booked Le Roosevelt at the last minute and were very impressed with the hotel from the minute we stepped through the entrance. The reception was a small desk with two chairs and the Receptionist sat on the other side! Check-in was simple and quick. Our room was lovely, the bathroom huge, air con spot on. The hotel offers fun...

The staff are excellent and we felt welcome and as if nothing was too much trouble. The room was airy, large, spotlessly clean and very quiet. The hotel was generally nice. Rooms were as shown in the pictures - relatively small for Americans but consistent with the size of comparable rooms in France. Staff was extremely nice, friendly and fluent in English. The hotel is a very close (10-15 min) walk to the train station. However, it is not very close to the sightseeing/tourist activities located...
