The Hotel is fresh and modern, with welcoming staff in the reception willing to help at all times. Rooms are clean and tidy, spacious enough for a city break base. Breakfast was traditional ‘continental’ selection, no issues here. Couple of points we didn’t like but these are very minor! The air conditioning in the room does not do ‘cool’ only none heated air. And the lift was very small, 3 people at the very most 4 at a squeeze. This said we absolutely loved this hotel for its location, its style, staff and service. If we ever come back to Lyon we will use this hotel again! Tres bien

Loved this hotel! Cozy, charming with a nice view of the Lyon rooftops. Room was bright and nicely decorated. Nice bathroom as well. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location-wise, it was very close to Les Halles 😍 A bit further from Vieux Lyon but it was about 25mins walking distance. I will be back for sure! Great value for money too :)

Decent hotel in Lyon city centre. 300 mts from metro / bus station & within walking distance of some of popular tourist attractions. Small to medium size rooms, small lift. Staff is very polite, helpful. However limited Breakfast options which is quite basic in options. Also congested space in breakfast location/restaurant area. Overall value for money

As normal the reception from your receptionists was warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were up to their usual standard and the Polish lady was as friendly and helpful as ever. My usual room (30) was comfortable and of a good size and was clean and tidy when I came back in at night. My only negative is that the wi fi connection is very poor and more often than not I had to use my mobile hot spot to be able to have gmail or a video conference which obviously costs money so perhaps a booster in the corridor would help

We loved the spacious rooms and the thoughtful design of every detail (firm beds, ample workspace for two people, bar soap in bath, new showers, lots of closet space, full-length mirror in closet, fun old-style telephones;) Every detail seemed to have been thought through. Best of all was the extremely friendly and professional service from each one of your employees. An exceptional welcome for our small dog, as well.

The rooms are OK in size for French standards, not very big compared to international 4*, but that was according expectations. The bathroom was very small and had no active ventilation system which means lots of steam and condensation after showering so you need to keep the door to the room shut to keep the moist out. Room & bathroom very clean and well taken care of. Service and personnel very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is served in buffet. The French/continental side has very good with croissants and pain au chocolate and what you’d expect in France. The “English” additions like scrambled eggs are not worth that name. The texture looked more like pudding without eggs taste, same for the sausages. If you add it to the buffet, it should be on par with the 4* of the hotel, especially at 18€/pp. Weekdays you can also have breakfast in one of the café’s close by. The price & parking were the main reason for us to pick this hotel. We stayed 3 nights in August with a very last minute reservation and got a very good rate (96€/n). August means the city is half empty, with no business travellers what might explains the good rate. Onsite parking is at 18€/n, but we found out on street parking is free in August in Lyon. The location was perfect for us, slightly outside the busy peninsula shopping and the touristy old Lyon areas. We took bike passes (4€/day/pp) from the cities Vélo'v system that has a station close by. That way you can reach anywhere in the city under 10min, or walk the short distance to one of the bridges close by. …

Free plastic water bottles in rooms are no longer allowed (for the planet) We have set up a fountain at the reception with sparkling and flat fresh filtered water. You can fill your water bottle there as much as you want. All local and national calls are free from your in-room phone. Lovely small, modern hotel a short walk from the main city where there were hundreds of restaurants, shops and sights to visit. There is limited private parking at the back of the hotel in a courtyard for 18 euros per night but we were able to get a space for our three day stay with no issue. The rooms were not huge, but modern and very clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast is buffet style with a wide range of sweet and savoury selections that were constantly refilled. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect to walk into the town and to the large city park. A great hotel which we would highly recommend. It wasn't hot when we stayed so cannot comment on the AC as previous reviewers have. We also saw someone stay with a large golden retriever so dogs are clearly allowed.…
