We visited the Rives de Fourviere in early May and we liked it very much. Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 nights. The room was very clean and spacious and the location is perfect to explore the city. The old city is in walking distance and the rest could be done part by walking or taking the bus or tram....

Very satisfying experience all-round: prompt response to e-mails, clear and accurate direction for access, charming apartment and spacious room, good wi-fi, delicious breakfast, and, yes, VERY comfortable bed! Corinne is a wonderful host who gave us very good advice on what to see for our short stay at Lyon and spot on recommendation for dining options. Location is convenient for...

Four of us had a great 4 night stay at this very comfortable and homely B&B. Both rooms had twin beds and private loos and ensuite showers. Beds were extremely comfortable! Breakfasts were amazing and well thought out with lots of homemade goodies. Freshly squeezed orange juice every morning was a real treat. Corinne was a fabulous host - very...

Highly recommeded. Corrine provided a warm welcome on our first trip to Lyon and went that extra mile in making sure that we enjoyed our stay with her. -- even to the extent of accompanying us to our train to ensure that we wouldn't get lost when we left the city. Her B and B is well located for exploring...

We spent four days with Corrine and her family in September 2012. What a lovely place to stay. Don't be put off by the unattractive exterior of the property. Once inside it's a different world. Lovingly kept by Corrine Gautier and her husband with occasional visits by one or more of their four daughters, this is like living with a...

MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PASSCODE BEFORE ARRIVAL! We were stranded outside what looks like a dodgy apartment for an hour because we hadn't been told the passcode to get in and didnt have phone access. Parking was really hard on the street, I wouldn't recommend staying if you have a car. There is no indication outside that the B&B...

Don't be put off by the entrance to this accommodation. It looks a bit gloomy and the lift is ancient (but works perfectly well). Our room was far more luxurious than we were expecting. It consisted of a large bedroom area with an extra-large bed, chairs, tables, etc. Everything was very thoughtfully chosen. There were lots of pictures and ornaments,...

Thank you very much for this accurate comment. i just would add about servicing the room each day. When you arrive, I usually ask to the guests if the prefer that I clean the room, make beds and change the towels each day or if they prefer I don't enter in their room to protect their intimacy. Generally, they prefer...

The host, Connie Gautier is extremely prompt with a response on my reservation enquiry. In fact, she called to confirm with me. Upon arrival, we were met with her daughter, Claire. Then, joined by Connie who provided us with abundance of useful tips. This place is just at the "foothill" of the Basillique Fourviere. Connie gave us useful tips to...

“Petit Prince room is the larger one and is very spacious.Bathroom has a privacy curtain rather than door but private toilet. Bed is king size. Petit Reve is still a good size with bathroom with door and private loo. Bed is queen size. Still room for a sitting area. Rooms work well for a group but would also be ok if you didn't know the other residents.”
