We chose this hotel because it is halfway down our route home, we received a warm welcome, good size room, large swimming pool, good decoration, good value for money, we even met friends that we had not seen for a very long time, nice reunion
Highly recommended for services, cleanliness and staff behavior. Rooms are excellent with a kitchenette. Staff is really courteous. Lobby bar is open 24 hours. Spa us wonderful. Location is access able and scenic.
Didn't have time to visit the Spa, but it looked very good outside large pool and inside lots of amenities. The room is large, although simple. With kettle tea and coffee. Breakfast is good. Hotel employees helpful.
I had this Hotel booked for me by the company I work for. The hotel did not have my booking and as it transpires it was the fault of the booking agent who sent the confirmation to the wrong email address! So they had no rooms available in the Hotel and instead provided me with an apartment. In an annex away from main hotel. Nice? Well not really, I had breakfast included in the booking but as I was in the annex I had to have breakfast there which was more like a school canteen - poor. The pool was not in use! Typical - poor. So if your intent is to visit Lyon as a tourist be aware of the fact that this hotel is no where near anything. Although it’s a good place to jog along the river! Taxis- from Lyon airport to this hotel; in the afternoon €55 return early morning €75!!!! The reason it gets 3 stars is the food! I had the set menus and it was lovely. Lyon is very expensive.…
My stay at this hotel was quite nice but some of the basics are missing. For instance, the aircon was quite noisy and I could not switch it off, the curtains are thin and let in a lot of light (thank goodness I had my eye mask from my flight, otherwise I simply would not have been able to sleep) and the pillows on the bed are lumpy. In fairness, I did find slightly better pillows in the cupboard on my second day of staying there. However I'm a real fan of feather pillows, and those were not provided. There are no restaurants within walking distance; you need to take a taxi into town. I had breakfast at the hotel and it was basic but nice. I was really looking forward to a terrific selection of French cheeses, but this wasn't provided. The staff were competent and the spa looked nice (I was there on business; alas I had no time to go to the spa). Oh, my coffee cup wasn't washed. It was just left there ... which, while no big deal, was a little odd. Maybe you are meant to wash it yourself. The room was very clean and (barring the aircon) nice and quiet, which I really appreciated.…
