I should, first of all, say that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations during our stay. It was noisy, inconvenient at times and a bit of an obstacle course negotiating our way to the room. None of this was the fault of the hotel or the staff. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was small, clean...

This hotel is well situated to walk to the old town or to catch the funicular railway to the Cathedral and Roman Ruins. The hotel is still being refurbished and will only be better for it. The room we had was large but it felt a bit basic. Perhaps enlivening the rooms with a few pictures/ photos/ colour would bring...

Stayed for 4 nights. Room spacious, warm and clean, huge bed. Kitchen very well equipped. Looks like the apartments have been refurbished very recently. There's a safe, ironing board, extra blankets and pillows No noise from the street below at night. Reception staff very helpful, booking restaurants for us and giving directions. We had breakfast elsewhere for a similar price...

Stayed for a week over New Years. Had a 1 bedroom apartment for a family of 4. Apartment was newly renovated, comfortable, warm, and contained everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee machine in lobby. Amazing location in heart of old Lyon. Restaurants right outside the front door, and easy walk or metro ride to most attractions/sites....

We stayed here for two nights. Location is excellent! Hotel is safe, not very modern but for the price is correct. Rooms were clean, elevator needs renovation, the rooms are well equiped. We stayed in a deluxe studio which had fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Water pressure of room 503 is disgraceful. It really needs to be improved. Strength of...

good central location - biggest issue is finding the hotel in a car! ensure you get the person behind the desk to take 30 seconds to physically show you where the car park is, it is literally around the corner, but to find in the car using the map they provide is borderline impossible. (it took us over 1 hour...

This property is in an excellent location. The room was comfortable, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The female receptionist on Sunday spoke neither French nor English. She was loud, arrogant, and had little to offer in terms of information about the surroudings. Coffee in the lobby was offered free of...

I stayed here recently for work , location you can't beat you literally have the city centre on your doorstep. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself is currently undergoing renovations so it was a little noisy from time to time however I wasnt 't the room much so didn't bother me. I stayed in a...

Spent 3 nights at this hotel in late September. Great location for exploring Lyon - clean apartment - the refurbishment didn't impact us at all. Once you step outside you are almost onto a lovely cobbled street with an array of restaurants - something for everyone. The Wallace Bar at the hotel is a nice, friendly place to have a...

“Ask for a room overlooking the courtyard for a silent night. If you like to watch the world stroll by opt for the front or side rooms.”

“We did not know about the challenge of driving to the hotel before checking in, so parked in a nearby garage. It would have been quite a bit cheaper to park at the hotel, so if you do need to park your car, it's likely worth the hassle of parking near the hotel, checking in, and then moving your car to the hotel's garage.”
